RFI (Room For Improvement) Fantasy Wrestling is a group of two writers, myself, AJ Diaz and John Siverwright. RFI originally formed back in September 2001 in 4w-wrestling.com, and ran until June 2003. RFI is a look on how WWE would improve each brand that is focused on. Our brand of fantasy wrestling consists of us writing the shows from scratch, with the interviews word-for-word and matches move-for-move. Each brand has their own respective rosters and even have some surprise trades in them. We were lucky to gain a cult following during our initial run and if you're reading this and you remember us, be assured that this time we're here to stay.We will be running once again in www.4w-wrestling.com and www.prowrestlingscoops.com . RFI is also an interactive project that is nothing without fan support. So here’s what you have to do to participate.

WWE Raw
September 4th 2006
Philips Arena – Atlanta, GA
Announced by Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler
Written by John Sivewright
[8.00-8.15]
(A highlights packaged airs, documenting some of the activities from last week on Raw. Edge chose the venue and stipulation for John Cena’s final shot at the WWE Title; a TLC Match at Unforgiven, following a brutal attack on the Doctor of Thuganomics. Randy Orton ambushed Carlito and Trish Stratus while the WWE’s hottest couple where having a “private moment” backstage. The unprovoked ambush did not go unpunished as Carlito gained some retribution by costing The Legend Killer the number one contendership for the Intercontinental Title in match against Matt Hardy. And the main story of the night was the savage attack by the McMahon’s and The Big Show on Shawn Michaels and Triple H, followed up by the announcement from Vince McMahon that at Unforgiven it’ll be a three-on-two handicap Hell in a Cell match with himself, Shane and Show against D-Generation X)
We then go live to the Raw opening sequence and the camera pans across the sold out crowd in the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
JR, “We are only 13 days away from the end of the road for several WWE superstars! Feuds will be finished, scores will be settled and rivalries will come to a raging climax at Unforgiven! But we have two stops left before that final destination and we start here at the Philips Arena tonight!”
King, “What about it, JR!? The first ever three-on-two handicap Hell in a Cell match with DX and the McMahons.”
JR, “But the McMahons have upped the ante by recruiting he services of the five hundred pounds, former WWE Champion, the monster …”
“Well … it’s the Big Show!” The Big Show’s music booms over the PA system as the cheers from the crowd to greet the start of the show quickly change to a chorus of boos and general disapproval.
JR, “And here he is, King. The McMahon’s insurance policy, if you will.”
King, “I don’t see Vince or Shane, though.”
JR, “The monster is out here on his own. And he looks like he means business!”
Shows climbs up the ring steps and enters the ring by stepping over the top rope. The big man demands a microphone and is handed one by a stage hand at ringside.
Show, “Cut the damn music.”
The music ceases.
Show, “Last Monday, I got a call from Vince McMahon. Vince told me he needed some help on an important business matter. That matter is the destruction of D-Generation X. So I came to Raw last week and I helped Vince and Shane take DX apart. And at Unforgiven in 13 days, I’ll help them put DX out of commission for good. But everyone’s been wondering: why you, Show? Why did the McMahon’s choose you to be their partner at Unforgiven? I’ve got to be honest with you; Vince didn’t call me. I called Vince! I offered my services. This Hell in a Cell match was my idea. You see, I am one of the most wasted talents in the business today. I am 7 feet tall, I am 500 pounds and I should have held the world title 10 times by now! But it’s not quite gone down like that. Things haven’t quite gone right for me ever since my debut. Roll the footage.”
(Footage airs on the Titantron of St Valentine’s Day Massacre 1999, when The Big Show came out from under the ring and throw Stone Cold Steve Austin through the steel cage, accidentally costing Vince McMahon the match)
Show, “My first job as a WWE wrestler was to help Vince McMahon eliminate Stone Cold Steve Austin. I was signed from WCW to do that job. And I failed on that night. Things never really went right for me since that day. I headlined pay-per-views, I won titles, sure. But I was never quite the indestructible monster I could have been had I not screwed up at St Valentine’s Day Massacre. So I saw that Vince McMahon was in trouble again. This time, it’s D-Generation X making his life hell. So I decided that this time, I could put things right for Vince, and put things right for myself, by destroying Triple H and Shawn Michaels in Hell in a Cell. After that, the reign of The Big Show will really begin!”
“Are you ready?” The D-Generation X theme music begins to play and the fans are on their feet. Triple H comes out onto the entrance way, alone. He is holding a microphone. HHH begins to speak, addressing Show from the stage.
Hunter, “First of all, you may be wondering where my buddy Shawn is. He’s in the back getting ready for action. You’ll all find out why later on. I’m out here to address this big piece of garbage in the ring. Big Show, it’s not that one incident seven years ago that’s made you a failure. It’s simply that you’re not really that good, man. For Christ’s sake, how many times have you been given the chance to run with the ball? Not only have you dropped the ball, but you’ve then sat on it! You’re not wasted talent; you’re no talent!”
Big Show, “Remember Survivor Series 1999, Hunter?”
Hunter, “Um, yeah. What about it?”
Big Show, “I won a triple threat match to become the World Heavyweight Champion and I pinned your ass!”
Hunter, “That is true, that is true. But what about a month later when I Pedigreed you and took the title on the last Raw of the millennium?”
Big Show, “That was a fluke.”
Hunter, “Look Show, what about the six years since that? You’ve done nothing! You are a guy who has got where you are simply by your size. Everybody knows that Vincent Kennedy McMahon likes big men! He thinks big men equal big ratings. What a load of crap. Did you see The Great Khali on SmackDown?”
Big Show, “He’s a friend of mine, actually.”
Hunter, “Well, you remind me of him! You may look the part, but you do not have the ability and you certainly do not equal ratings. And back to the point; you want to talk about indestructible? You want to talk about a ‘long reign?’ Well, you’re looking at someone who’s made a living out of it. I’m a former ten time world champion. How many world titles have you won, big man?”
Show, “Four.”
Hunter, “I’ve headlined 5 WrestleManias! How many have you headlined?”
Show, “One.”
Hunter, “And do you know something? I’ve done all that in the last seven years. So quit bitching and complaining. Quit trying to pin down your failings to one God damn incident when in fact you’re just not that good!”
Show, “Why don’t we see who’s ‘good’ tonight, Hunter?”
Hunter, “Why don’t we see who’s ‘good’ right now?”
Vince McMahon’s face appears on the Titantron. He’s stood in his private suite backstage.
McMahon, “Gentleman, I would appreciate it if you could calm down. Now being the entrepreneur that I am, I anticipated an altercation of this very nature this evening. You both may notice that above your heads is a fifteen foot high steel cage. Like all great businessmen and billionaires, I think ahead. That cage was constructed this evening for the sole purpose of you two competing in singles action inside of it. Triple H, you will not make it to Unforgiven in 13 days. The Big Show is unstoppable. He is indestructible. And he will soon be on a path of rage the likes of which you have never seen before. The only way to win this cage match tonight will be by pinfall. So there will be nowhere to run, Hunter, nowhere to hide. There will be no submissions, so you will not be able to do what you do best, “tap out”, when the going gets tough. And the cage door will be locked. So your “buddy” Shawn Michaels will not be able to rescue you. After The Big Show gets done with you tonight inside that cage, you will be in no physical condition to appear in Toronto at Unforgiven. So it’ll be me, my son Shane, and The Big Show in a three-on-one handicap match against Shawn Michaels on September 17th, thus meaning the end of D-Generation X for good!”
“No Chance” begins to play as Vince smirks on the big screen and Show, still in the ring and HHH, on the stage, exchange menacing glances.

[8.15-8.30]
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are at ringside discussing the turn of events thus far tonight.
JR, “So what we do know, fans, is that in tonight’s main event, Triple H and The Big Show will be duking it out in a steel cage match. But that’s not all. The King and I have been handed a line-up of matches for tonight.”
King, “And boy are we in for a wild ride!”
JR, “The WWE Champion Edge will be going one-on-one with Shawn Michaels at the top of the first hour in a no-disqualification match. We have been told that this is to get Edge ready for the TLC match at Unforgiven.”
King, “But it also looks like a way for the McMahons to soften up HBK!”
JR, “Indeed it does, King, I’m glad you said it. And the number one contender John Cena also prepares for Unforgiven in a tables match against “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton. And we’ve also been told that Johnny Nitro wishes to address the situation with the number one contendership for his Intercontinental Title.”
King, “Jeff Hardy won a shot at the title last week, right?”
JR, “Well, yeah, so Lord knows what Johnny Nitro feels he needs to “address” …”
King, “As long as it doesn’t involved another press conference …”
JR, “Good God, I hope not. But let’s head to the ring and get things under way as the undefeated Umaga looks to keep his streak alive against the young prodigy, Carlito.”
Carlito VS Umaga w/Armanda Alejandro Estrada
As Carlito struts to the ring, apple in his mouth, highlights are shown of several weeks ago, with Umaga taking Kane out of commission.
King, “I hope Carlito knows what’s in store for him tonight!”
Umaga comes down to the ring to his tribal bongs music with Armanda Alejandro Estrada alongside him. Umaga sprints down the aisle and slides in under the bottom rope as the bell rings to kick things off in this one. Umaga charges at Carlito, who is in the corner. Carlito gets out of dodge, backs the big man into the corner and unloads with a series of right hands. Umaga shrugs off the blows, turns Carlito round into the corner and lands some rights of his own. Umaga sends his Puerto Rican foe into the opposite corner with an Irish whip and tries to follow up with a splash. Carlito avoids the contact and Umaga careers chest first into the turnbuckles. Carlito bounces off the ropes and hits a flying back elbow, which nearly knocks the Samoan Bulldozer off his feet. Carlito tries to whip Umaga into the ropes, but the big man reverses it and goes for a back-body-drop. Umaga ducks his head a little too early, so the former US champ goes for a sunset flip. Umaga isn’t to be pulled down however and tries for a sit down splash. Carlito slides out of the way and Umaga’s ass finds nothing but canvas. Carlito comes off of the ropes and hits a Curt Hennig style float over neckbreaker. Carlito steps out onto the ring apron and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Umaga returns to a vertical base and Carlito attempts a flying crossbody. Umaga catches CCC in midair and hits a front backbreaker. Umaga keeps hold of Carlito, hauls him back up and hits another front backbreaker. Umaga repositions Carlito so that he’s up for a bodyslam, but then slams the former US champ into the corner in a tree of woe position. Umaga comes off the ropes and goes for a diving headbutt, but in an incredible show of lower back strength, Carlito manages to do a sit up to avoid the contact. Carlito manages to reposition himself up on the top turnbuckle and comes flying off with a flying dropkick, which knocks Umaga down. Carlito goes for the cover, but Umaga powers out of the pin attempt at two. Umaga gets back up and Carlito jumps on his back to execute a sleeperhold. Umaga charges back to the corner and sandwiches Carlito’s body between his own and the turnbuckles.
JR, “Umaga drove all the air out of Carlito’s body there!”
Umaga pulls Carlito back out to the centre of the ring and plants him into the mat with a scoop slam. The Samoan Bulldozer steps up to the middle turnbuckle and comes flying off with a diving headbutt. Umaga covers Carlito, but CCC kicks out after two. Umaga slows the pace by applying a nerve hold, jamming his fingers into Carlito’s left collarbone. Carlito fights the pain as the referee checks to see if he wants to submit. The crowd rallies behind CCC, who uses their energy to power back to his feet. Carlito lands several elbows to the midsection of Umaga. The former US champ sends the big man into the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Umaga ducks it, comes off of the opposite ropes and turns Carlito inside out with a hard clothesline of his own!
King, “He nearly took Carlito’s head off with that one!”
Umaga backs himself into the corner and looks to readying himself to deliver the Samoan Spike. Carlito stumbles back to his feet and Umaga charges forward. CCC avoids the potentially devastating contact, grabs Umaga by the head, sticks his knees in his back and drops to the mat, hitting his variation of a backbreaker, the back cracker. Carlito then goes out onto the apron, goes up top and comes off with a flying elbow drop for a near fall. As this occurs, the fans start to boo as Randy Orton walks out onto the stage with a steel chair. Orton unfolds the chair and sits on it, presumably to watch the match.
JR, “What’s he doing out here?”
King, “I think he just wants to enjoy the action, JR?”
JR, “I’m sure those aren’t his intentions, King.”
Carlito spots Orton, but tries not to let “The Legend Killers” presence bother him. Carlito ties for a vertical suplex on Umaga, but the big man blocks it. Umaga then lifts Carlito up for a suplex, but drops Carlito front first onto the top rope. Carlito is stood, winded on the ring apron, but not for long as Umaga charges it him and knocks him out onto the guardrail with a hard back elbow to the face. Umaga joins Carlito on the outside and gets CCC in a bearhug. Umaga then charges Carlito back first into the ringpost! Umaga keeps hold of Carlito, backs up and repeats the move, charging Carlito into the ringpost a second time. Umaga rolls Carlito back into the squared circle. The Samoan Bulldozer follows his foe back into the ring, comes off of the ropes and hits a jumping legdrop for a near fall. Umaga pulls Carlito back up to a vertical base. Carlito tries to turn the pendulum by hitting a couple of shoulder thrusts to the midsection, but Umaga regains control with a rake to the face. Umaga sends Carlito into the corner and follows in with a hard splash. Carlito collapses in the corner, exhausted from the assault thus far. Umaga looks to charge in with the ass to the face shot, but Carlito manages to avoid the contact. CCC gets a second wind here as he charges off the ropes and puts the Samoan Bulldozer down to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Carlito goes for the cover. 1 ….. 2 …. Umaga has his foot on the rope, but it was placed there by Armanda Alejandro Estrada! The referee starts to argue with Estrada. Randy Orton seizes an opening and charges down to the ring with his steel chair. Orton almost takes Carlito’s head off with a vicious chair shot to the cranium! Carlito collapses into the corner and Orton makes a quick exit from the ring. Umaga is back up and the referee quits his arguing with Estrada to return his attention to in-ring affairs. Umaga charges into the corner and hits the ass to the face shot (if any readers know the official name of this move, please email us!) on Carlito. Umaga pulls Carlito back to the centre of the ring, covers him and picks up the 1-2-3.
Winner by pinfall: Umaga in 8:44
Umaga and Armanda exit the ring and Estrada shakes hands with Randy Orton, who is still at ringside. Trish Stratus runs down to the ring and checks on the health of Carlito, who is laid out on the mat. Orton re-enters the ring and is looming behind Trish. Randy grabs the former Women’s Champion by the hair, laughs in her face and then forces a kiss on her.
JR, “Who does this arrogant young a**hole think he is!?”
Trish responds with a slap to the face of “The Legend Killer”. Orton then drops Trish onto the mat with an R.K.O!
JR, “Hey, that’s uncalled for.”
King, “Even I’ve got to say, that’s pathetic.”
Randy Orton smirks at the crowd, who respond with a chorus of boos. Orton leaves the ring, but spots the chair which he used earlier, which is on the floor at the bottom of the ramp. “The Legend Killer” picks up the chair, slides back into the ring and lays it down on the mat. Randy pulls Carlito back up, but instead of inflicting any punishment on him, he throws Carlito through the ropes and to the outside. Orton pulls Trish back up and hits an R.K.O on the chair on Carlito’s love interest!
JR, “Oh my God, that’s heinous!!”
Orton demands a microphone from ringside and gets one.
Orton, “Carlito, you stuck your nose in my business last week. You cost me a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Now you’re going to pay. Your little girlfriend here is a former multi-time women’s champion. Some would say she’s a ‘legend’ in women’s wrestling. Well, I’m the Legend Killer, so that R.K.O right there should come as a surprise to no one! And Trish, when that chair collides with human flesh, it makes a sound like a gunshot. You want to be banged by Randy Orton again? You know where I am in the back, toots.”
‘Take What’s Mine’ blares over the PA system as Randy Orton leaves Trish and Carlito laid out.
Maria is backstage getting a word from Melina and Johnny Nitro in their locker room.
Melina, “Girl, what do you want?”
Maria, “Sorry to disturb you, but me and all of the WWE fans are wondering: why have you and Johnny Nitro called another press conference tonight?”
Melina, “What a stupid question …”
Nitro, “Don’t worry, baby, I’ve got it. Now Maria, let me make it real simple for you. Jeff Hardy did beat Randy Orton last week to earn a shot at my Intercontinental Title. But Melina and I do not feel that he is a worthy challenger for the gold.”
Maria, “Why is he not worthy?”
Nitro, “You’ll have to ask us at our press conference to find that out.”
Maria, “Okay, I’ll be there!”
Melina, “Now beat it, skank!”
(Commercial break)
[8.30-8.45]
Vince and Shane McMahon are stood backstage in Vince’s private suite, talking.
Vince, “You liked that, huh?”
Shane, “Yeah, great decision to book that match tonight. Big Show is going to tear Triple H apart.”
Vince, “And did I tell you the no-disqualification match was my idea as well?”
Shane, “No kidding!?”
Vince, “Well, I figure we can’t have just one member of DX in action tonight. And Edge could do with a little ‘warm up’ for his TLC match at Unforgiven. So everyone wins, right?”
Shane, “Except for DX.”
Vince, “We can’t ALL be winners.”
Both Vince and Shane start laughing.
Shane, “But Dad, what if Shawn wins?? What’ll happen to the Unforgiven title match then?”
Vince, “It’s a non-title match, Shane. Shawn Michaels is most certainly not deserving of a chance at the WWE title.”
We cut to a shot of John Cena unpacking some gear from his bag into his locker. Cena spots someone entering his locker room, rises and clenches his fists. The camera pans out and that someone is Edge and his girlfriend, Lita.
Edge, “Hey, John, relax. We’re not here to cause trouble.”
Cena doesn’t reply.
Edge, “What’s up? Cat got your tongue?”
Cena, “Nah, man. Had a little too much of Lita’s tongue, actually.”
Edge, “Okay, enough of the pleasantries. Just thought I’d come in here to make sure you watch your monitor for the next few minutes. I’ll be taking on ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels in a no-disqualification match. I may use some tables. I may use some ladders. And there’s a chance some chairs may come into play. But the beating that I deliver to Shawn Michaels will be just a fraction of what I’ve got in store for you at Unforgiven.”
Both wrestlers can hear he distant sound of Shawn Michaels’ music playing out at the ring.
Edge, “You’d better take some notes, chump.”
Edge and Lita walk off, no doubt heading for the entrance way.
Cena, “Oh, I’ll be watching.”
No-Disqualifications, Falls Count Anywhere Match
Non-Title Match
Edge w/Lita VS Shawn Michaels
We cut back to the ring and Shawn Michaels is half way down the aisleway, with the fans on feet, showing their love and respect for The Heartbreak Kid. HBK enters the ring and does his muscle flexing pose as pyro shoots to the rafters. “On this day” the first line of Edge’s music kicks in as the WWE Champion, accompanied by Lita, makes his way to the squared circle. Edge runs down to the ring, slides in and looks like he’s making love to the mat, but is surprised by an elbowdrop to the back from Michaels as the match starts. Shawn backs Edge into the corner, climbs up to the second turnbuckle on the inside and lands some hard right hands to the face. Edge pushes Shawn down to the mat and then charges out looking for a quick Spear. Michaels avoids the contact and Edge crashes face first into the middle of the opposite set of turnbuckles. Shawn comes off of the ropes and knocks Edge down with a clothesline. Michaels comes off of the ropes again and connects once again with a clothesline. HBK goes for another clothesline, but this time Edge ducks it sends Shawn into the ropes and catches The Heartbreak Kid in a sleeperhold. Shawn slips into a headlock and goes for a back suplex. Edge flips out of it and pushes HBK sternum first into the corner. Edge comes off of the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Shawn ducks it and then drops the Rated ‘R’ Superstar to the mat with a falling neckbreaker. HBK goes for the cover, but Edge kicks out after two. Shawn kneels over Edge and connects with some right hands. Michaels rolls to the outside, reaches under the ring and pulls out a ladder!
King, “A ladder!?”
JR, “It is no-disqualifications, King. And nobody knows more about ladders than Shawn Michaels.”
King, “What are you talking about, JR? Edge has won every TLC match he’s ever been in!”
Shawn places the ladder on the ring apron. Edge connects with a baseball slide however, which smacks the ladder against Shawn’s ribcage. Michaels collapses at ringside. Meanwhile, Edge sets the ladder up vertically in the corner in the ring. Edge comes off of the ropes and takes Shawn down at ringside with a suicide dive over the top rope! Edge rolls Michaels back into the ring and slides straight back in after HBK. The Enigma stomps away on the Boytoy. Edge pulls Shawn back up and sends Michaels crashing into the ladder with a hard Irish whip. Edge slides to the outside, grabs a chair from the timekeeper’s table and slides back into the ring. Shawn is standing against the ladder, in a lot of pain. Edge swings the chair at Michaels, looking for a variation on the conchairto, but Shawn avoids the contact, leaving Edge to smash steel on steel. Shawn takes Edge down with a drop-toe-hold, which results in Edge going face first down onto the chair that he brought in to play. Shawn picks the chair up and nails Edge in the back with the weapon! Shawn lays the chair on the mat and tries to piledrive Edge onto it. The WWE Champion reverses with a back drop, picks up the chair and blasts Shawn in the face with the weapon. HBK collapses into the corner, seemingly exhausted. Edge places the chair over Shawn’s face, paces backwards and then lunges forward, going for a dropkick. Shawn avoids the contact by sliding out of the ring. Shawn, at ringside, grabs both of Edge’s flailing feet and crotches him against the ringpost! Shawn reaches under the ring and pulls out another chair. Shawn comes back into the ring and places the new chair under Edge’s face. Michaels picks up the chair that was already in the ring and gives Edge a taste of his own medicine with a conchairto! Lita jumps up onto the apron and Shawn swings the chair in her direction, causing her to quickly retreat.
JR, “If this is any indication of what’s in store for both of these competitors at Unforgiven, then it is an event that is not to be missed!”
Shawn goes to the outside and reaches under the ring. Michaels pulls out a table and sets it up at the bottom of the ramp. HBK pulls out a second table and places it on top of the first one.
JR, “Shawn Michaels looks like he has some evil intentions here, King.”
King, “Which surely doesn’t mean good news for our WWE Champion!”
Shawn gets back in the ring and steps the ladder up by the side of the ring nearest the tables. Michaels pulls Edge up and starts to climb up one side of the ladder, leading Edge up the other side as well. Both men get to the top of the ladder and it looks like Shawn is set to deliver a superplex through the tables.
King, “Remember Saturday Night’s Main Event, JR? When Shawn Michaels put Shane McMahon through the tables??”
JR, “I sure do, King, and it looks as though HBK has similar plans for the WWE Champion, Edge!”
[8.45-9.00]
Suddenly, Lita is in the ring and has a hold of Shawn’s left leg. Michaels kicks Lita in the faces, knocking the diva down to the mat. This has however given Edge a golden opportunity to recover. Edge comes flying from his side of the ladder, over Michaels and down to the mat with a sunset flip and then sends HBK crashing through both tables with an incredible powerbomb!! Edge slumps down into the corner as that move seems to have taken everything out of him. The referee begins to count both men down as the fans begin a “holy sh*t” chant. Edge pulls himself to his feet via the ropes as the ref counts to ten.
Winner by knockout: Edge in 10:38
Edge celebrates his victory as EMTs and Triple H come down to check on the condition of Shawn Michaels, who is laying motionless among the wreckage of the tables.
We see a shot of Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and The Big Show all backstage exchanging high fives as they watch the monitor.
Vince, “That’s one down. Show, after you destroy Triple H, there’ll be nothing left for us to face at Unforgiven!”
(Commercial break)
The red carpet as rolled out down the ramp as the MNM music starts to play. Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro and Melina walk down towards the ring, in which a podium is positioned for their “Press Conference”. There are several photographers outside of the ring, amongst which is Maria. Nitro steps into the ring and Melina enters from under the bottom rope in her usual, sexual manner as cameras flash across the arena. The IC Champ and his main squeeze take their place behind the podium.
Nitro, “You can stop cheering now, thank you. No, seriously, I know you idolise me, but we don’t have all night. I would like to begin by explaining why Melina and I have called this press conference tonight. Last week, Jeff Hardy defeated Randy Orton to earn a shot at this, my Intercontinental Title. I’m afraid to say that the match will not take place. My partner and manager, Melina, will explain why.”
Melina, “Jeff Hardy has left the WWE! Nobody has seen him this last week, he’s not here tonight. We gave Matt Hardy a call earlier on today and he told me he’s not seen him or heard from him. It’s like he’s disappeared off the face of the earth! But Johnny Nitro is a true champion …”
Nitro, “I am a true champion. I marched into Vince McMahon’s office before we came on the air tonight, demanding that Jeff Hardy be brought in here tonight so that I could confirm that our match would still be taking place. But Mr McMahon informed me that while he would not go into all the details, Jeff is gone from the WWE and he is not welcome back.”
Melina, “Why Vince rehired him to begin with, I ain’t got no idea!”
Nitro, “These tendencies are not new from Jeff Hardy. He’s turned up late before. He’s pulled “no shows”. Only this time they are not tolerated. So to officially confirm, I will not be defending my Intercontinental Title against Jeff Hardy … ever! It’s kind of sad really. I was going to have the match confirmed to take place at Unforgiven, you know, to add some more prestige to it. But I suppose I’ll now be having the night off on September 17th.”
‘WOOO!’ Ric Flair’s theme music plays and The Nature Boy walks out from the curtain to a deafening cheer from the capacity crowd. Ric walks down to ringside, where he gets a microphone before entering the ring.
Melina, “What is the meaning of this …”
Flair, “You keep your mouth shut! Let the men settle things here.”
Melina looks set to attack The Nature Boy, but Johnny Nitro restrains her.
Nitro, “What do you want, old man?”
Flair, “Did I hear you say you’re going to have the night off on Sunday September 17th?”
Nitro, “Yeah. What’s it to you, Flair?”
Flair, “Pardon me for interrupting, but I am a former sixteen time heavyweight champion of the world. During my days as champion, I didn’t take nights off. I took on all comers. If my opponent cancelled, I’d arrange another one.”
Nitro, “In your day? I wouldn’t know, man, I wasn’t born then.”
Flair, “Hell, even now I still work a harder, stiffer schedule than most of the roster, pal! I think you can guess why I’m out here.”
Nitro, “What, you lost your hearing aid?”
Flair, “You can act smart all you want, but I think we all know why I’m out here. How about you take on The Nature Boy on September 17th at Unforgiven?”
Nitro, “Hold on now, sir, hold on. I’d like you to think this through. You actually want to face me in a wrestling match? A game of chess I’d understand, but a wrestling match? Look, I will take on all comers, sure, but I don’t want to be responsible a death. Christ, you look as if you could have a heart attack any minute now just standing there talking into that microphone. Do you think I want to get locked up for the assisting of euthanasia?”
Flair, “Don’t worry about me or my health. I’ve been a styling, profiling, jet flying, limousine riding, kiss stealing, wheeling dealing son of a gun for thirty years and I don’t plan on giving up now. Wooo! And after I’m through beating your ass at Unforgiven, I’ll take your little friend here back to the hotel and show her why the oldest ride in the park still has the longest line.”
Nitro, “You’re sure you want this match, Grandpa? I’ll give you one last chance to reconsider.”
Flair appears to pause for thought, but then knocks Nitro on the deck with a hard chop to the chest! Melina and Nitro bail out of the ring as Flair rips off his tie and starts to unbutton his shirt, “wooing” maniacally. Flair picks up the wooden podium and throws it over the top to the outside. While Ric is having something close to a seizure, Chris Masters’ music plays over the PA system. Masters walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand.
Masters, “Hold on, hold on. Let me get this right. Ric Flair, you really think you are deserving of a shot at the Intercontinental Title? More deserving than the Masterpiece!? Let’s have a look at your last match and my last match, shall we? The last time you stumbled into the ring for a match, you lost to Randy Orton. While I, last week on Raw, was on the brink of defeating John Cena, but watched victory just slip away as Edge interfered to give Cena a lucky DQ win. I pushed the number one contender for the WWE Title to the limit. If anyone is deserving of a shot at Johnny Nitro, it’s me!”
Flair, “Okay, Masters, how about this; you and me tonight, one-on-one! Winner gets a shot at Nitro at Unforgiven.”
Masters, “Could you make it any easier for me!? What do you say, Nitro?”
Nitro, “Whatever, beat the sh*t out of each other, I don’t care. Neither of you will stand a chance at Unforgiven.”
[9.00-9.15]

Tables Match
Randy Orton VS John Cena
“Take What’s Mine” begins to play and Randy Orton comes down to the ring to a drowning chorus of boos from the Philips Arena masses. Orton slides into the ring, steps onto the middle turnbuckle on the inside and poses to the crowd. The mood changes as “My Time Is Now” booms over the PA system and John Cena comes out to his obligatory mixed reaction. While Cena is on the stage seeking support from the fans, Orton is at ringside pulling a table out from under the ring. Orton sets the table up at the bottom of the ramp next to the ring. Orton sets on the table and stares down Cena, who walks slowly down towards the squared circle. John starts to run to the ring and Orton gets off the table and slides back into the ring. Cena slides in under the bottom rope and Orton attacks him with some stomps as the bell rings to commence the contest. Randy and Cena get into a collar and elbow tie up and Orton backs Cena into the corner. The ref calls for a clean break, but Orton ensures that it’s anything but that as he slaps Cena in the face. John reacts by taking Orton down with a spear and unloading with a barrage of rights and lefts to the face. Randy rolls John over and lands some blows of his own, before the official separates both men. Orton looks to clothesline Cena, but John ducks it and then clotheslines The Legend Killer over the top and to the outside. Cena steps out onto the apron and takes Orton down on the outside by the announce table with a flying clothesline. John tries to end the match early with a bodyslam through the announce table, but Randy slides out the back door and pushes Cena into the security wall. Randy charges at John, but The Doctor of Thuganomics backdrops Orton into the crowd! Cena climbs over the wall, kneels over Orton and connects with some further rights and lefts. When John relents, Orton tries to crawl away through the crowd. Cena pulls Randy back up and looks to whip him back into the security wall. Orton reverses it, sending John careering into the security wall and charges at Cena looking for a clothesline. John again looks to backdrop Orton over the wall, but this time Randy lands on his feet and then surprises the rapper with an R.K.O, driving Cena’s chest down hard on the security wall! John rolls around on the ground in obvious pain as Orton badmouths some ringsiders. Randy refocuses his attention, reaches over the wall and pulls Cena back up and over to the ringside area again. Orton whips Cena into the ringpost and goes for a clothesline. John ducks it and Randy’s arm crashes against the steel. Cena rolls Orton back into the ring and takes a steel chair from the timekeeper’s table. John re-enters the squared circle and swings the chair in Orton’s direction. Randy avoids the contact and Cena drops the chair. The Legend Killer goes for another R.K.O, but this time Cena sees it coming and pushes Randy into the ropes. John scoops Orton up for the F.U, but Randy slips out the back door, turns Cena round and drops John onto the chair with a DDT! Orton pulls Cena back up, leads him over near the ropes through which is the table by the entrance ramp. Randy sets John up for a suplex which, if executes fully, should send Cena over the top and through the wood. John blocks it with his foot, but Orton lands some stiff rights to the midsection and tries once more for the suplex. Cena turns in midair and lands on the ring apron. John hits a shoulder thrust to the midsection which sends Orton staggering backwards. Cena goes up to the top rope and tries for a double axe, but Orton takes him out of a sky with a dropkick to the midsection. Randy slides to the outside, folds up the table and slides it into the ring. Orton sets the table up vertically in the corner. Randy tries to Irish whip Cena into the table, but John looks for a reversal. Orton reverses that, but sends John into the opposite corner from the table. Randy charges in after Cena, but John catches him with a boot to the jaw. Cena goes for a running bulldog, but Randy slips out the back door and tries to push Cena through the table. John puts on the brakes and turns back to Orton. Randy goes for a dropkick, but John avoids the contact, kicks Orton in the gut, comes off of the ropes and drops The Legend Killer with a swinging neckbreaker. Cena then signals for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. John comes off of the ropes and goes for the move, but Randy rolls out of dodge and Cena only punches canvas. Orton is quickly back up and connects with the R.K.O! Randy takes the table from the corner, unfolds it and sets it up in the middle of the ring. Orton pulls Cena up, punches him in the face a couple of times and then lays The Doctor of Thuganomics on the table. Orton steps out onto the apron and starts to climb up to the top rope. As he does so, the fans are on their feet as Carlito runs down to the ring! Carlito steps onto the apron and shakes the top rope, which causes Orton to lose his balance and get crotched on the top turnbuckle. A recovering John Cena climbs up the turnbuckles on the inside and gets manages to position Randy Orton on his shoulders. Cena takes The Legend Killer down through the table with an incredible F.U from the top to pick up the win.
Winner by table breakage: John Cena in 9:02
After the result of the match is announced by Lilian Garcia, Calito slides into the ring and starts unloading on Orton with a flurry of rights and lefts. A whole host of referees and officials, including Sargeant Slaughter among others, come out from the back to pull the riled up Carlito off of Randy Orton.
(Commercial break)
Randy Orton comes through the curtain to the back and is knocked down in the ‘gorilla position’ by a hard clothesline from Carlito! Carlito takes a bite of an apple and spits the contents on the fallen Legend Killer.
Carlito, “Randy Orton, how about me and you go one-on-one at Unforgiven? That would be cool. You can give me your answer next week when you’re conscious. As for what you did to Trish? That was not cool. Consider this the beginning of Carlito’s retribution which will culminate at Unforgiven, if you have the balls to accept my challenge.”
[9.15-9.30]
Ric Flair VS Chris Masters
Back from the break, Ric Flair is in the ring, disrobing. Chris Master’s theme plays and The Masterpiece walks out onto the stage as pyro goes off behind him. Ric Flair slides out of the ring and attacks Masters at the bottom of the ramp as the ref calls for the bell to begin the encounter. Flair hits a series of hard knife edge chops to Masters’ chest, with the fans ‘wooing’ along as he does so. The Nature Boy backs Chris against the ring apron and hits some rights and lefts to the face. Ric backs up and lunges at Masters, but in an impressive show of strength, The Masterpiece bench presses Flair high above his head and throws Ric through the ropes and into the ring. Masters slides into the squared circle and stomps away on The Dirtiest Player in the Game. Chris pulls Ric back up, backs him into the corner and starts unloading with a series of shoulder barges to the midsection. Masters sends Flair crashing into the opposite corner with a hard Irish whip. The Nature Boy stumbles out of the corner and Chris puts him up, over and back down to the mat with a back-body-drop. Chris comes off of the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop for the first near fall of the contest. Masters pulls Flair up, whips his senior adversary into the ropes and goes for another back drop. Ric sees it coming and catches Masters with a boot to the face. Ric takes over with a succession of further chops to the chest of The Masterpiece. Flair gets Masters in a headlock. Chris pushes Flair into the ropes and knocks the former sixteen time world heavyweight champion down with a shoulderblock. Masters comes off of the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Ric ducks it and catches The Masterpiece in a sleeperhold. Chris slips to one side and then takes Flair up and crashing down to the mat with a back suplex. Chris goes up to the middle turnbuckle on the inside and hits a flying elbowdrop for another two count. Masters sits Flair up, jams a knee into Ric’s back and pulls both of The Nature Boy’s arms back in a bow-and-arrow type submission hold. Ric fights the pain and after a half a minute or so in the hold starts to summon the strength to power up out of the hold. Ric is back to his feet and manages to break the hold with a series of elbows to the midsection of his larger foe. Flair lands several more chops and tries to whip Masters into the ropes. Chris reverses it and presses Ric into the air. Flair this time catches Masters with a thumb to the eye and drops down to his feet. Ric takes Masters down with a chopblock and tries for the figure-four-leglock. Flair manages to turn through, but Chris escapes by kicking The Nature Boy chest first into the corner. Masters comes off of the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Flair ducks it and tries to Irish whip the big man into the corner. The Masterpiece reverses it and Flair careers into the corner. Ric flips up into the corner and lands on his feet on the apron. Ric charges across the apron and climbs up to the top rope. Masters sees it coming and pulls Flair off of the top turnbuckle in a press slam position, but then drops the Nature Boy down front first on his knee! Masters then locks Ric in the Master Lock. Both men are fairly near the ropes however and Flair is fortunate enough to collapse forward into the ropes, forcing Chris to break the hold. While the referee is separating both men, Flair mule kicks Masters in the groin! Chris collapses to the mat. Flair steps back to the corner and then lunges forth and connects with a jumping kneedrop. Ric goes for the figure-four-leglock and this time is successful in applying his trademark submission hold on The Masterpiece! Chris fights the hold in agony as Flair is yelling at him, presumably enticing him to tap out. Masters manages to successfully turn the hold over, however, this putting the pressure on The Nature Boy. Flair turns it back over and then both men roll into the ropes, causing the hold to be broken. The referee untangles both men’s legs and then they both roll to the outside of the ring. Both men trade blows it ringside with Flair getting the better of the exchange. Ric looks set to deliver a haymaker of a blow, but Masters ducks it and backdrops Flair on the black mats! Chris pulls Ric back up and slams the Nature Boy’s head onto the ring apron. Masters steps back up onto the apron and tries to get back into the ring, but Flair has a hold of Masters’ foot. Chris kicks Flair in the head and tries to attack him with a double axe from the apron. The Nature Boy sees it coming and stops Masters with a right hand to the midsection, followed by several knife edge chops. Ric goes for another chop, but Masters catches his arm, turns through and applies the Master Lock! Ric writhes in pain as Masters applies constant pressure, when suddenly the ref calls for the bell.
Match declared a double countout in 7:44
Masters lets go of the hold, leaving Flair in a crumpled heap and starts arguing with the official over the decision.
JR, “Masters is an idiot, King. Had he got Ric Flair in the Master Lock inside the squared circle, it may have been a different story. But as it occurred outside the ring, the official had no choice but to count both men out.”
King, “And Masters ain’t happy about it!”
Johnny Nitro and Melina are stood backstage watching the monitor.
Melina, “What does this mean, baby?”
The Intercontinental Champion smiles and takes off his sunglasses to address Melina.
Nitro, “Looks like I’ll be getting the night off at Unforgiven after all. Neither man won, so neither man deserves a shot.”
Charlie Haas walks into the locker room.
Nitro, “What do you want?”
Haas, “I couldn’t help but notice that you still don’t have an opponent for Unforgiven …”
Nitro, “Before you ask, the answer is ‘no.’ What the hell have you done to earn a shot at my title?”
Haas, “I don’t expect an instant shot. I might with Melina, but not with your Intercontinental Title. How about this: next week on Raw, you and me go at it in a non-title match. You win, you definitely get the night off at Unforgiven. I win and it’ll be me and you for the title on September 17th.”
Johnny Nitro is not quick to answer. Melina whispers something into the IC Champ’s ear.
Nitro smiles and replies, “You’re on.”
Nitro offers a handshake and Haas accepts.
(Commercial break)
“No Chance” blares over the PA system as Vince McMahon walks down to the ring, alone, to a chorus of boos from the sold out crowd in the Philips Arena. Vince enters the ring and gets a microphone.
McMahon, “I’ve come out here to address a very serious issue, so I’d be grateful if you’d all settle down.”
The boos grow louder.
McMahon, “Shut up!! Right now, while Raw is playing live on USA Network, I understand that ECW are producing a prime time television show at this precise moment also. The last thing I want to do is give away free publicity to a second rate outfit like Extreme Championship Wrestling but I thought I’d let everybody here know that we in WWE are aware of the actions of our opposition and will be acting accordingly. I crushed WCW when they went head-to-head with us Monday nights. I bought out their company, signed the wrestlers I like and fired the wrestlers I didn’t like. For the following five years, the WWE has been the undisputed kings of sports entertainment. This situation will not change and we will be making sufficient measures to ensure that. One measure I will be taking is that I am out here to announce that I am on the lookout for new and fresh talent for WWE Raw. I am happy with the superstars currently on our show, but I would always be open to opportunities to improve our talent roster. So in the coming weeks I will be sending out the scouts, if you will. I will be watching wrestling in Japan, Europe, Australia, smaller Independent companies on American soil and if I see any wrestlers that I feel would improve our product, I will be making swift moves to make them a part of the WWE family. That’s all I have to say on the matter at this time.” Vince throws down his microphone and exits the ring.
JR, “Vince is looking to sign new superstars for the WWE, King!”
King, “I think I may need to tell Mr McMahon that I am available for a return to the ring!”
JR, “He said they were looking for fresh acts.”
[9.30-9.45]
John Cena is nursing some bruises in his locker room, when he hears a knock on the door.
Cena, “Come in.”
Lita walks into the room.
Cena, “What are you here for? To give me some tongue?”
Lita, “Well, actually, yes.”
Lita suddenly gives John Cena and long and passionate kiss.
Cena (stuttering), “Wh…wh…what?”
Lita, “All these innuendos every week, John. You think I don’t think about them?”
Cena, “Well, I …”
Lita, “Last week you called me a ho. You know what I’d do to you if I was your ho?”
Lita whispers something into John’s ear.
Cena, “Look, I don’t know where you’re going with this.”
Lita, “Edge is great and everything but all this dirty talk of yours, it sort of drives me wild. I want to show you just how much it drives me wild.”
Cena, “How am I supposed to believe any of this crap?”
Lita, “Let me show you just how serious I am.”
Lita kneels down out of shot. We hear something that sounds like a zip being undone.
Cena’s face contorts into an expression of surprise and delight.
Cena, “Wait a minute …”
(Commercial break)
Back in John Cena’s locker room, Lita is standing up again and John Cena looks awed.
Lita, “That was just the beginning, John. If you want to see just how much you drive me wild, how about you come back to my hotel room with me?”
Cena, “But Edge …”
Lita, “Edge doesn’t need to know. He’s spending the night with his brother, he won’t notice I’m gone.”
Cena hauls his bag over his shoulder and leaves the locker room hand in hand with Lita. All of a sudden, the Doctor of Thuganomics gets taken out in the corridor by a Spear from Edge!
JR, “Oh my God, what a sick setup!”
Edge starts unloading on Cena with a barrage of right hands while Lita connects with some kicks on John also. Cena manages to shrug off the blows and gets back up, but is knocked straight back down by a hard kick to the groin from Lita! Edge goes into Cena’s locker room and comes back out with a TV monitor. Lita holds Cena up and Edge blasts the number one contender straight in the forehead with the monitor, busting Cena wide open!
Edge, “You pathetic, gullible piece of garbage! You thought you’d throw me in the river two weeks ago, huh? What did you think; that I’d drown!? Now we’ll see who drowns … in their own blood!”
Edge turns to Lita.
Edge, “Good job, honey.”
Edge and Lita kiss while Cena is laid out in a pool of his own blood.
Maria is standing by getting a word from Umaga and Armanda Alejandro Estrada.
Maria, “Mr Estrada, I understand you have something to say?”
Estrada, “Indeed I do, senorita! Tonight saw Umaga’s path of rage continue. Nobody can stop The Samoan Bulldozer. But you know all that! So we’re talking to you to announce that Umaga is making an official challenge to “The Big Red Machine” Kane for a match at Unforgivne. Kane, if you’re watching, Umaga wants a piece of you and he wants it on September 17th. If you can still eat solid food, then come to Raw next week and let us know your answer!”
Steel Cage Match
Triple H VS Big Show
Back at ringside, the steel cage has been fully lowered and it’s time for tonight’s main event! “Well … it’s the Big Show!” Pyro goes off on the stage and The Big Show comes out of the curtain to a negative reaction from the capacity crowd. Show marches down the ramp and looks like means business. Big Show steps into the cage and then shakes one of the side panels.
King, “He’s like King Kong, JR, only bigger!”
“Are you ready?” The lights go out as the D-Generation X theme song sends the audience into rapturous applause. Triple H walks out onto the stage, bottle of water in hand. The Game walks down to the cage, takes a sip of water and then steps up the steel steps. Facing the ringsides, HHH spits out the water. Before he’s given a chance to do anything else, Big Show grabs him by the hair and pulls him through the ropes and into the cage as the referee sounds the bell to begin the match. The cage door is shut and locked by the referee on the outside. The Big Show backs Hunter against the ropes and lands several overhand chops. Show sends The Game into the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Helmsley ducks it, hits the ropes again and connects with a jumping high knee. Show teeters back, but the blow does not knock him off of a vertical base. Hunter pushes Show back into the corner and lands a series of hard right hands to the face. Helmsley goes for an Irish whip, but the big man reverses it. Show charges in after the Cerebral Assassin, but Hunter raises his leg and catches his opponent with a boot to the jaw. Helmsley steps up to the second turnbuckle on the inside and goes for a double axe. The Big Show catches him in a bearhug, but Helmsley escape by biting Show’s forehead! Hunter strikes with several right jabs, grabs Show by the head and looks to ram the big man face first into the side of the cage. Show blocks it by grasping the top rope with both hands. Big Show elbows Hunter in the midsection and tries to turn the tables by attempting to ram Hunter head first into the steel. Helmsley too blocks it by grabbing the ropes. The Game takes over with a boot to the big man’s midsection and tries for whip his larger adversary into the ropes. Big Show reverses it and goes for a big boot. Helmsley ducks it, hits the ropes a second time and connects with another high knee, which again sees the big man teeter back towards the ropes. Hunter comes off of the ropes again and goes for a clothesline, but Show executes a back drop which sees HHH fly back first into the side of the cage and then collapses in a heap on the apron between the ropes and the steel.
[9.45-10.00]
Big Show puts the boots to The Game with some stomps to the chest and then, grabbing hold of the top rope for leverage, chokes Hunter with his right foot. Show pulls Hunter up, but then plants the degenerate straight back down onto the mat with a vertical suplex. Show comes off of the ropes and hits a sternum crushing legdrop for a near fall. The Big Show then places his right foot on the midsection of The Game and then steps over Helmsley’s body, driving all his weight down on the Cerebral Assassin. Show lifts both of Hunter’s legs, but then hits a devastating legdrop to the bread-basket. Big Show pulls The Game back up and wraps his hand around the throat of Helmsley, possibly looking for the Chokeslam. Helmsley kicks Show in the left knee several times, causing the big man to relinquish his grip. Hunter comes off of the ropes and looks to strike, but is knocked silly by a big boot to the face!
King, “If this is a preview for Unforgiven, then DX are in big trouble!”
The Big Show comes off of the ropes and hits a jumping elbowdrop. Show pulls Hunter a little nearer to a corner and then starts to scale the turnbuckles from the inside.
JR, “What on earth could The Big Show be looking for here? Is he going to go aerial!?”
He Big Show is slow to climb however, giving The Game time to regain his senses. Helmsley gets back up and clubs Show in the back, causing the big man to lose his balance and get crotched on the top! Hunter climbs up to the middle turnbuckle on the inside and looks set to bring The Big Show back down to the mat with a back suplex. Show turns in midair however and hits a cross body, which upon impact on the mat, looks to have damn near crushed all of The Game’s internal organs! Show is laying on Hunter and the referee looks to count the pin, but Show relinquishes the cover and wags his finger, as if to suggest the punishment isn’t over yet. The Big Show pulls Hunter back up and again looks to deliver a Chokeslam. This time Helmsley escapes with a kick to the groin! The King of Kings sets Show up for the Pedigree, but Show counters with a double leg pickup and slingshots The Game into the steel! Hunter staggers back into what looks like an inverted DDT attempt from the big man, but who then turns it into the “Final Cut,” in which he drops Hunter to the mat with his elbow planted firmly in the chest of The Game. Show goes for the cover, but Hunter kicks out after two. The big man stomps away on Helmsley, drags his foe over to the corner and again starts to climb the turnbuckles from the inside. This time, perhaps thinking more rationally, Show stops at the second turnbuckle and goes for a Vader Bomb. The Game manages to clear the cobwebs in time to foresee the manoeuvre and lifts his knees, knocking all the wind out of his bigger adversary. Hunter staggers back up, comes off the ropes and hits the high knee, this time knocking Big Show down to the mat. Helmsley hits a jumping kneedrop on the big man. Hunter lifts both of Big Show’s legs and hits a kick to the groin, which incites a large groan from Show. Helmsley pulls Big Show up and again goes for the Pedigree. Show reverses it with a backdrop and then successfully lands the Chokeslam! An exhausted Big Show collapses onto The Game for the cover, but somehow HHH musters the resolve to kick out after two! As the action continues inside the cage, the fans start to boo as Vince and Shane McMahon walk down the ramp. Shane is carrying a chair. Vince gets down to ringside and starts talking to the referee by the cage door, while Shane stays at the bottom of the ramp. In the ring, Show sends Hunter into the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Helmsley ducks it, comes off of the ropes again and both men take each other out with a double clothesline. Vince appears to be asking the referee at ringside for the key to open the cage door. The referee refuses to comply, so the CEO decks him with a hard right to the side of the head! Vince takes the key out of the official’s pocket, then reaches under the ring and pulls out a sledgehammer! As Vince opens the door to enter the cage, Shawn Michaels runs down the ramp to a big pop from the crowd.
JR, “It’s Shawn Michaels, King!”
King, “How is he still walking!?”
JR, “I have no idea, but he’s out here to even the odds for D-Generation X!”
Shane looks to attack HBK with the chair, but Michaels makes Shane taste the steel by hitting Sweet Chin Music on the chair and into the face of the younger McMahon! Vince doesn’t realise these developments as he’s focussed on in ring proceedings. Vince enters the cage and swings the sledgehammer at HHH. Hunter ducks it and McMahon accidentally nails The Big Show! Shawn grabs Vince by the foot and pulls him out of the cage as Helmsley covers Show for the 1-2-3.
Winner by pinfall: Triple H in 14:10
Shawn nails Vince with several hard right hands at ringside and then slams McMahon’s face against the side of the cage. Shawn reaches into Vince’s pocket and retrieves the key for the cage. Michaels re-enters the cage and locks it, leaving himself, Triple H and a sledgehammer with The Big Show laying helpless. Both members of DX pull Show back up and HBK holds the big man in place as HHH looks set to do some damage with his beloved sledgehammer. Hunter repeatedly nails the big man in the midsection with the weapon and then nails him in the cranium! The Big Show is bleeding, with the recovering Vince and Shane watching anxiously at ringside. HBK keeps Show on his feet and Triple H delivers another sledgehammer shot to the head, and then another!
JR, “This is turning into a savage assault from D-Generation X!”
King, “I think they may be taking this a little too far, JR.”
JR, “King, I think you may be right. They might be putting The Big Show out of commission here.”
King, “That’s probably the plan!”
Triple H then holds Show in place as HBK delivers Sweet Chin Music! Hunter hits another Pedigree on the bloody big man. Helmsley and Michaels stand over The Big Show’s battered, bruised and bloodied body and do a simultaneous crotch chop, with the McMahon’s looking on, terrified, at ringside as the show goes off the air.
Hope you enjoyed RAW, let's not keep you waiting as here is ECW Monday Night Massacre!
ECW Monday Night Massacre
September 4th, 2006
Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky
Announcers: Joey Styles and Joel Gertner
Written by: AJ Diaz
(8:00-8:20)
‘Footage is shown on the ECW giant sized screens of the past World Champions of the late ECW. It highlight’s Shane Douglas stellar rise to the top of the earlier days of Eastern Championship Wrestling and the creation of what is, Extreme Championship Wrestling. It then shows the countless legendary champions that have carried the industry from Shane Douglas to Terry Funk, Raven, Taz, Sabu, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer and countless others who remain in the minds of the proud fans.’
The Monday Night extravaganza opens with a shot of the sold out Freedom Hall. Wrestling fans from around the country have made their way to Louisville, Kentucky to witness what promises to be a history making night. Hundreds of fans are holding up their homemade signs in honor of ECW itself. The fans roar out the classic chant of ‘ECW! ECW! ECW!’ as down the entrance way without any musical introduction walks the sole owner of ECW, Paul Heyman; alongside Heyman walk the voices of Extreme Championship Wrestling, Joey Styles and Joel Gertner. All three individuals walk into the squared circle as the fans are loosing control and giving Paul Heyman a standing ovation showing their appreciation for bringing back ECW. Paul Heyman pulls out a microphone and you can noticeably see he’s having trouble speaking out to the fans, as this is a very emotional moment in his life. The Owner of ECW breathes in hard and finds it in himself to speak. Paul Heyman says, “I’ve dreamt and that dream has finally come true…two years ago, I was feeling very sorry for myself but didn’t want to let the world know that. I walked away in bankruptcy from the beautiful child I created. This company was my pride and joy and everything that the wrestlers in this company ever did, made me prouder and helped me sleep better at night. You see before creating ECW, I was just a fan with a vision; a vision that turned out to be the most revolutionary company in wrestling history. With the likes of stars, like Rob Van Dam, Taz, The Sandman, Jerry Lynn, Shane Douglas, Terry Funk, Cactus Jack, Steve Austin, Tommy Dreamer and tons of others we built this empire. Every wrestler that you have ever cheered for and not to mention every wrestler that has been stolen from me; built this empire. Bingo Hall after bingo hall, ballroom after ballroom…we created magic and from the looks of it; nobody ever forgot that magic. ‘Cause if you had forgotten the Freedom hall wouldn’t be sold out as it is today. But there was one person that decided to let it all go to hell, one guy that didn’t even find a way to shake the hand of his performers one last time and that man was this man.” Pointing at himself, Paul Heyman continues to speak, “You see I ran from ECW and crawled to the man that I most despised and there I once again created new stars and proved to the world what kind of genius I truly was. But the asshole that I worked for didn’t care, how hard I worked or how great his company was turning out to be. Oh he didn’t give a rat ass! He just continued to humiliate my work and me. But I persisted and every single cent that I made, that same amount of cash I saved. I talked to the best lawyers, the best advisors and affiliated myself with people most of you might be surprised to see standing with me and decided to not let a McMahon ruin this business even further. You see Vince McMahon…you brought this upon yourself. Your daughter, your son, your wife are all-responsible for what I’m about to do tonight. You can bring the Rock back you can make your Katie Vick storylines and you can even marry Kurt Angle and Bret Hart for all I care…but It won’t save you from the onslaught that I’ll bring upon the wrestling world. I learned something from you, you double crossing, backstabbing, self centered, old bastard…take advantage of the competition and then when you have it in your hand, squeeze the life out of it. So McMahon don’t think I’m starting a war against you; just look at it this way…ECW is back in town and it’s taking over, ‘cause tonight what happens in the coffins of this arena will be a story told by wrestling historians and tomorrow night once the dust has settled; you’ll bare witness to the Massacre that will await!!! So fans enjoy the show ‘cause Joey Styles, Joel Gertner and what your about to witness will take you for the ride of your life.” The classic ECW theme, ‘This is Extreme’ blasts through the arena as the fans rally behind Paul Heyman and chant ‘EC-Dub!!!’ over and over again. Joel Gertner and Joey Styles head to the announce position as Paul Heyman shakes the hands of some fans at ringside as he heads to the back.
Joey Styles and Joel Gertner are at the announce table and the camera zooms into their position. Joey Styles, “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to ECW’s comeback show, Monday Night Massacre. I’m Joey Styles and with me is the wild man, Joel Gertner. We’re live from the Freedom Hall in Kentucky and every second; every minute of this broadcast is making history around the world. We are being seen in areas of Japan, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, and England! This is a dream come true for ECW and it is a very emotional moment for not only the people that help put ECW together but for these fans also. ECW is back on national television and thanks in part to the Sci Fi channel.” Joel Gertner, “Emotional? Jeez, Joey you’ve changed your ways. I remember when you used to enjoy women…Haha! I’m Joel ‘always make the sweet ladies scream with and without some lubricating cream’ Gertner!! And just in case, you’ve forgotten what ECW represents. Well around here, chairs are the delicacy and are always on the house and professional wrestling will be treated to a fancy plate of hardcore wrestling, you’ve got to see to believe! Paul Heyman couldn’t have said it better himself and tonight the revolution continues.” Joey Styles, “Are you finished? About time; Gertner. Let me point out that tonight every ECW championship is on the line meaning the ECW Television Title will be decided and last but certainly not least, the ECW World Championship will be decided but the only question is who will challenge for the most prestigious title in the business. In ECW actions ALWAYS speak louder than words and by God, fans…tonight it’ll be no different.” Joel Gertner, “You have a good point Joey Styles and that is quite the surprise since you and points are not very fond of each other.” Joey Styles, “Oh brother…let’s not keep these fans waiting. ‘Cause it is time to show some of the future seeds ECW is planting on the business. Two amazing competitors will lock up making history in ECW first comeback match. Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian have met in the Indy scene and tonight they get their chance to demonstrate to the world what they’re made of. Not to mention both coming of a successful run in the NWA; Sabin winning the X-Division championship and wrestling on the 2003 Super 8 tournament. ” Joel Gertner, “If I’m not mistaken both of these guys proclaim to be the future of the business and tonight I guess we’ll see Kazarian who’s my personal pick, show Sabin how bright his future shines.” Joey Styles, “Some of the wrestlers that have influenced Sabins styles are none other than Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and Tiger Mask. It seems Kazarian hatred for Sabin is built on jealousy and he shouldn’t be jealous he was personally trained by Killer Kowalski and critics continue to name both of these guys as top up and coming wrestlers. Frankie Kazarian after researching wrestling schools all around the world, he, upon recommendation by none other then Bret Hart, chose the Killer Kowalski institute of professional wrestling…if that’s not a good recommendation, then everyone is dead wrong.”
Single Match
Chris Sabin versus ‘The real Future’ Frankie Kazarian
Linkin Park’s “Faint” blast throughout the arena and out the entrance way and making his way down the ramp, comes making his ECW debut Chris Sabin to a great surprising pop from the fans. Joey Styles, “Look at Chris Sabin. You can tell he knows he’s going places.” Over the speakers we hear the sound of Kid Rock’s “Cocky” and this brings out the all so talented, Frankie Kazarian with a smirk of confidence as he struts down the ring. He climbs into the ring and both men step up to each other as they stand toe to toe. The referee official for this match stands between both men and goes over the rules of the contest. Chris Sabin takes a step back and extends his hand out. Frankie Kazarian looks at him and after a brief moment of thinking it over shakes his hand. They step away from each other and pace around the ring for a minute or so. The opening bell is rung and both talented competitors start the match with a collar and elbow tie up in the center of the ring. The tie up turns into a headlock courtesy of Frankie. Sabin does not remain in the hold for long and shoves his opponent into the ropes. Kazarian comes back and leapfrog over Chris. Sabin turns around and slides between the legs of Frankie, locking a waist lock from behind. Kazarian looks for an elbow to the temple but Sabin ducks it and Irish whips him into the ropes. ‘The Future’ comes back with a baseball slide underneath Sabin and locks in a full nelson. He attempts to bring him down into the canvas but Chris is able to get out of the hold and applies a hammerlock on his opponent. Frankie looks for another elbow to the side of Sabin’s head but he ducks and attempts a back body suplex, he looks for it but to no avail as Frankie lands on his feet behind him. Before pushing him chest first into the corner but instead of crashing into the corner, Sabin tips up onto the 2nd turnbuckle and comes back with a standing Moonsault but ‘The Future’ moves out of harms way and Chris is able to notice this, which makes him land on his feet. Sabin tries to dropkick Frankie but finds nothing but air and hits the canvas back first, allowing Kazarian to hook up both of his legs and sending him into the corner. Chris Sabin showing his amazing athleticism leaps onto the top turnbuckle and Frankie turns around into a Cross Body. The fans are blow away at the fast paced action they’ve bared witness too as Kazarian kicks out at the count of just 1. Both men are back up and pacing around each other as they catch their breath. Joey Styles, “Incredible start to this very important match.” Joel Gertner, “I’m going to have to go with Frankie Kazarian both men have done and incredible job to begin with and this proves what the ECW is all about.” Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian pace around the ring before locking up once again. This time Sabin gains the advantage with a side headlock takedown. He slows down the pace off the match by keeping his opponent down in the canvas with the headlock. The self proclaimed ‘Real Future’ is struggling to free himself for a short while until he finds a way to do so and uses his legs wrapping them around the head of his rival. This forced the former X division champion to break the headlock and both men stand up. Joey Styles, “Frankie Kazarian a great in ring technician even though he is starting in what should be a illustrious career.” Both wrestlers stare at each other and go for a third lock up but this time Frankie breaks it up quickly with a arm drag takedown. Now he continues to work on the arm of his opponent with a arm bar but Sabin does not let this go on further as he gets a kick to the side of Frankie’s head making him break the hold. The kick sends Kazarian staggering around into an arm wringer from his opponent. Chris Sabin sweeps his opponent into the canvas with the arm wringer firmly applied, before dropping a leg across the bicep. Frankie Kazarian agonizes in pain for a brief moment, before Sabin picks him off the canvas and wrenches his arm once again. This time he climbs to the 2nd turnbuckle and brings the ‘Real Future’ into the ground with a modified elbow drop to the stretched arm. Joel Gertner, “That was a great move by Daniels, even though he should not be the man walking out the winner!” Sabin picks Frankie up once again and Irish whip’s him into the corner but Kazarian reverses and sends him instead back first into it. He runs into the corner and lands a reverse elbow into Sabins chest. Frankie can’t continue his offense as his arm continues to hurt him; allowing the participant in the 2003 Super 8 Tournament to come back with a standing dropkick. This drives Kazarian into the corner and Sabin continues his offense by holding the ‘injured’ arm and leaping over the third rope. This makes Frankie’s arm slingshot right off the third rope. Sabin climbs back into the ring and sits down over the back of Kazarian, before applying a half nelson that stretches the injured arm of his opponent. The official begins to ask him if he gives up but Kazarian refuses to loose on his first nationally televised match with ECW. Joey Styles, “Chris Sabin is so good. The man is just wearing away at the right arm of Frankie Kazarian and from the looks of it, there is nothing Frankie can do about it but scream.” ‘The Real Future’ is able to reach the ropes with his left leg and the official tells Sabin to break the hold, which he obliges to do so. Frankie Kazarian stands up and Chris Sabin looks to send him into the ropes but he turns the tide and sends him instead to the ropes. On his way back the former X Division champion is nailed across the mouth with a perfect jumping calf kick. Chris goes down but stands back up holding his mouth and Frankie gets some right hands to the side of his face, 3 of them to be exact and pushes him into the corner. Frankie places him on the top turnbuckle and climbs behind him. Both men are up on the top turnbuckle and Kazarian has Sabin in a Full Nelson soon after he soars through the air with his opponent driving him face first into the canvas with a Super Full Nelson Face Crusher!!! Joey Styles, “This must be it. It has got to do it. There is no way, someone can survive such a amazing yet painful maneuver.” Joel Gertner, “Some companies like to talk about their extreme, hardcore and high risk maneuvers. Well it does not get any more high risk than that!” The fans are on the edge of their seats as an “ECW! ECW! ECW!” chant emerges. Frankie has the 2nd cover of the match and hooks the leg at the same time, One…Two…Chris Sabin kicks out before the count of 3. This makes Kazarian show signs of frustration and he scoops up Chris Sabin back first over his shoulder, before ramming him chest first into the top turnbuckle. He continues the offense with a springboard dropkick across the face of Sabin who was placed on the top rope and feeling the aftershock’s of the kick, falls from the top turnbuckle and crashes on the outside! ‘The Real Future’ climbs out to the ring apron before looking for an Asai Moonsault but there is nobody there but Frankie lands on his feet. Only to be met with a stomp to the gut and some European uppercuts. Sabin rolls him into the ring before climbing in after him and letting him hang on the ropes with a hangman suplex. He has Frankie locked on and goes for a second hangman suplex on the ropes…or so it seems. The former NWA Title holder, drops Kazarian on the top rope, which makes his body bounce back into a out of this world, DDT. Joey Styles, “Incredible moves these two youngsters have pulled off in this match. Demonstrating what their talent and the ECW is all about.” Chris has the cover but only gets a 2 count. He Irish whips Kazarian into the ropes but he reverses and clocks Sabin with a elbow to the side of the face, which sends him staggering around the ring and into a Sit Down Piledriver!!! Chris Sabin’s head bounced off the ring apron as the crowd ‘uuuh’ at the thud Sabin’s head did as soon as Kazarian brought him down with the devious Piledriver. Joel Gertner, “What a Piledriver!!! This one should be over. There is no chance in hell that Sabin can kick out of that.” Joey Styles, “Oh my God, that was sick!” ‘The Real Future’ Frankie Kazarian has the cover and picks up the hard fought victory after a 1…2…3 count from the referee.
Winner via pinfall, Frankie Kazarian 11:56
The sold out Freedom Hall, raises in unison as the fans give both men their well deserved standing ovation. Joey Styles, “A demonstration that I know, I’ll never forget. Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian made history tonight; bringing their feud to an end in Extreme Championship Wrestling. They brawled, wrestled and created a classic and no matter who won; these fans are giving both of them a standing ovation.” Joel Gertner, “No matter who won? It sure as hell does matter. Frankie Kazarian is the one that’s standing which means he’s the winner and rightfully so, he is the future of this business.” The referee raises Frankie Kazarian’s hand in victory but he snatches his hand away from the ref’s arms. Kazarian goes to the outside and folds up a Steel Chair. He climbs back into the ring as Sabin is desperately trying to gain his composure after that concussion giving Piledriver. Chris Sabin stumbles around the ring for a few seconds as Frankie Kazarian measure him. Joey Styles, “Oh give me a break. Don’t tell me…” ‘The Real Future’ lands a hellacious chair shot to the top of Sabins head!!! The ECW fans give a mix reaction to Frankie’s actions. He grabs a microphone and says, “Sabin…months ago, when our feud started I promised that only one of us would walk out labeled the only true future of this business. See ‘cause there can only be one top guy and I don’t stand for seconds. Tonight here in ECW, I proved to you and the world who the real deal out of both of us is and that’s Frankie ‘F*cking’ Kazarian! So stay out of my way ‘cause there is no stopping me.” Kid Rock’s “Cocky” blast through the arena as he heads backstage and gets showered with tremendous amount of heat. Joel Gertner, “Nobody had to tell you, Joey. Frankie Kazarian just scrambled Sabin’s brain and made a statement. Remember him, we’ll be seeing a lot of him.”

(8:20-8:30)
When the show returns from the break; the Owner of ECW; Paul Heyman is standing by inside his office. Paul Heyman, “Fans of the extreme; I hope you’ve enjoyed the show so far and if you like what you see bare in mind that this is only the beginning. Tonight you’ll get more than your moneys worth as we are about to crown, the ECW Tag Team Champions and the ECW Television Championship. There is one title that remains and that is the ECW World Title. Our last champion, Rhyno; due to contract negotiations is no longer part of ECW.” The crowd inside the arena is heard booing. Paul continues, “Now I know that doesn’t fit happy with the fans but let me remind you I wasn’t the one offering less money on the contrary I was offering every cent he was worth…but it appears Erich Bitch-off; has gotten the best of him. Now I was briefly reunited with the ECW roster and I’ve hand picked the four participants of the World Title match that’ll take place next week. Those participants are the following: Steve Corino, Tommy Dreamer, New Jack and last but not least, Sabu!!” The fans loose control to hear the names of four of their ECW favorites. Paul Heyman, “Now the rules are simple for example, Steve Corino might face Tommy Dreamer or Dreamer might face Sabu. It’ll all be revealed in due time and before the night is over there will be two men left standing that’ll determine the ECW World Champion.” Joey Styles is heard commenting on the subject, “Oh my God! Tommy Dreamer, New Jack, Steve Corino and Sabu are the four participants in the World Title tournament that’ll take place tonight!” Paul Heyman grins as he continues, “Also tonight it’s my pleasure to announce that the ECW Television championship belt will make its return to this company and three very deserving individuals will battle it out in a 3 Way Dance!” Joel Gertner, “Now there is something we haven’t seen a while…” Joey Styles, “True to that, Gertner. ECW made the 3 Way Dance a household name and tonight to the shock of probably everyone here and watching live. The Television Title will be decided in that stipulation!” Paul Heyman, “Last but not least; I’ve got a surprise for everyone before the night is over…so stick around, it’s bound to be huge.” The camera fades to black as it returns to the announce booth. The fans are heard screaming ‘ECW! ECW! ECW!’ behind Joey and Gertner. Joey Styles, “The ECW T.V. Title decided in a 3 Way Dance. A tournament to determine the contenders for the ECW World Championship; not to mention the ECW Tag Team division will be reborn as the most prestigious tag team belts in the business are back and will be decided. What a night!?”
A shot is shown backstage of our interviewer, Jack Victory who is standing by with none other than ‘The Innovator of Violence’ Tommy Dreamer. Jack Victory, “Tommy, thanks for taking this time to do this interview with me. Who from now on will be the #1 man interviewer of the business. Before you say anything, let me ask you the first question how does it feel to be back in ECW?” Tommy Dreamer looks around and replies by saying, “There is a certain place in everyone’s life, that they like to call home. Some call home a trailer, some call home a million dollar mansion, some call home jail cell; heck, some people call home the inside of a cardboard box. I on one hand had only one home, where I had a family, where I became a man. That home was briefly taken away…but now, I’m back and ECW is my home!!!” The promo raises the roof of the Freedom Hall as the Kentucky crowd goes wild. Tommy Dreamer continues, “I spent two years busting my ass for a company who didn’t give a flying f*ck about Tommy Dreamer. But being the nice guy that I am, I held my head high and promised not only to myself, not only to my family and friends but I promised my fans, that I would not let anyone ruin my legacy and of course that legacy was born and died in ECW. But you see Jack, it’s time to rebuild the house of hardcore…it is time to innovate some violence that has never been witnessed. Tonight marks the return of Tommy Dreamer and the birth of a new place to call home. Even If I have to go through, Corino, New Jack or even Sabu. Let me tell you that I’ve done it before and I’ll be more than glad to do it again.” Jack Victory, “Before you go anything else that you want to clear out?” Tommy Dreamer, “Oh yeah…there is one more thing, but I don’t know if I…wait, what am I saying? F*ck Vince!!!”
The fans roar in pure agreement with the words of Tommy Dreamer as Joey Styles explodes in excitement, “One of the participants of the tournament has said what he thinks about everything and everyone, tonight is going to be off the charts. Can the wrestling world survive ECW?” Joel Gertner, “They better, Joey!”
(Commercial Break)
(8:30-8:45)
Joey Styles, “We’re back and ready to crown a new ECW Television Champion, we’ve received words that the participants of this 3 way Dance are none other than Justin Credible, Jerry Lynn which is a huge surprise to see him back and the third guy well…this comes from Paul Heyman himself, we don’t know who the third man is!” Joel Gertner, “Something like that only in ECW, people.”
Some very familiar music is heard and down the entrance way walks with the gorgeously sexual, Dawn Marie; none other than one of the best pound for pound athletes in ECW, Justin Credible. Credible has a microphone as he makes his way down to the ring, “Settle down, settle down. I’ve got to tell you it’s pretty good to be back in ECW ‘cause once again I’ll show the world how wrong they have been about me, and what a real fine piece of women a real man should walk with.” Joey Styles, “Oh brother... the last time I saw Dawn Marie she was paired with Lance Storm?” Joel Gertner, "It's been five years Joey, I've had 12 girlfriends in those five years, so it's no surprise." Justin Credible, “Its kind of obvious that I would be hand picked to compete for the ECW Television Championship. I mean look the truth is I was one of the last ECW World Champions and the main draws of this hell hole." The crowd go against Credible with a ‘You Suck D*ck!’ chant. Dawn Marie gets close to the mic and says, “That’s not his job…” Joel Gertner, “Look at the body of Dawn.... she makes me…” Joey Styles, “Don’t you dare say what you where about to say!” Justin Credible is interrupted by the sound of Jerry Lynn’s entrance theme as the fans rise in unison and give Jerry Lynn a ear shattering pop! Joey Styles, “The once labeled New F’N Show is back in ECW and he to this day remains one if not the top competitor in professional wrestling. Former ECW World Champion is here!” Jerry Lynn has a microphone as fans rally behind him with a mix reaction of “Jerry! Jerry!” and “Welcome back!” chants. Jerry Lynn, “Before I deal with you Credible…let me say how good it feels to be back in ECW…another thing I’d like to say is good luck to the four lucky guys that’ll be competing for the World Championship tonight, believe me; soon enough I’ll be seeing either of you. But first things first and tonight it’s the ECW Television Championship!” Justin Credible interrupts, “Jerry; sorry to disrupt your little dream talk but I’ve got a ECW T.V. Title to win and if that means putting your ass out of here once again; then so be it. You see you talk about winning the ECW T.V. Title and World Title…that’s a hell of a lot of talk for a man like you!” Jerry Lynn, “A man like me? Credible if I where you I’d shut the f*** up and stop spending these peoples hard earned cash with your bullshit!! Oh and one more thing, pick up your bitch she’s loose all over the ring.” Jerry Lynn drops the microphone and sprints into the ring as the supposedly 3 Way Dance is underway. Joey Styles, "Justin Credible and Jerry Lynn had several wars in the past and tonight on our first show back, they are at it again!"
3 Way Dance
ECW Television Title
‘The New F’N Show’ Jerry Lynn versus ‘Impact Player' Justin Credible with Dawn Marie versus Mystery opponent
Jerry Lynn stands in one corner of the ring taunting Justin Credible, as Credible sends Dawn Marie to the outside for her safety. The referee official stands between both proud competitors not allowing the match to begin since the third man is yet to arrive. A minute or so goes by and Justin Credible shoves the referee aside and blind sides Jerry Lynn with a right hand to the side of the face. This sends Lynn stumbling into the corner and Credible continues the offense with consecutive right hands. ‘Mr. Impact Player' sends Jerry into the opposite corner landing a running clothesline around Lynn’s throat. Jerry stumbles about into a power slam full of impact, thanks to Credible. Justin lands a few boot shots to the head of Lynn, before picking him up and sending him into the corner once again with an Irish whip. Justin Credible scores with some hurtful chops to the chest of his rival, before raking his head using the top rope. Jerry staggers around the ring holding his forehead and goes down with a hard clothesline courtesy of JC. He drags Jerry Lynn up before getting a grab to his hair and tossing him over the top rope and to the outside. Lynn suffers a lot of damage as he hits the concrete floor with tremendous force. Dawn Marie has gotten a hold of a steel chair on the outside and as soon as Lynn stumbles to his feet she nails him over the head with it! Joey Styles, “Somebody get her out of here! This match hasn’t even officially began and Jerry Lynn is out cold.” Justin Credible is standing over a battered Lynn on the outside and Dawn tosses the chair to her man. JC goes onto bring the edge of the chair into the sternum of Jerry Lynn as the ‘New F’N Show’ is being brutally attacked by one half of the former Impact Players. Credible drops the chair on the outside as fans begin to rally against him giving him a colossal amount of heat. Credible military presses Lynn over his head as he lets him fall neck first into the steel guardrail. Jerry wobbles around into yet another clothesline from his opponent. The referee official which is back up, tries to get control over this but Dawn Marie brings him to his knees with a low blow, before kicking him down and going onto beat him with her high heels. Justin Credible rolls Jerry Lynn into the ring before attempting a DDT but Lynn elbows him in the stomach and scores instead with a DDT on him! The fans are on their feet as Jerry Lynn grabs a hold of Dawn Marie and sends her over the top rope to the outside. Justin Credible catches Lynn from behind with a knee shot to the upper back before sending him into the ropes but Jerry comes back with a spinning heel kick to his mouth. Credible sprints back up into a short clothesline from Jerry. He gets back up into an array of hard chops, JC stumbles back into a corner where Lynn puts the boots to him without mercy. While this is going on inside the ring from the crowd and over the railing comes none other than former WWE Superstar, Jeff Hardy! The fans in the arena are in pure shock as some cheer for his appearance. Jeff Hardy picks up the same chair Credible used on Lynn earlier and slides into the ring with it. Jerry Lynn turns around into a vicious chairshot from the hands of the former WWE Tag Team, European, Hardcore and Intercontinental champion!! Joey Styles, “Jeff Hardy! Jeff Hardy is the third man in this match.” Justin Credible attempts to get at the young competitor but he ducks and scrambles Credible's brain with yet another vicious chair shot!!! Jeff Hardy takes off his ‘misfits’ shirt as a referee official storm down the ramp and into the ring for the official start of the 3 Way Dance. Joel Gertner, “What the hell is a WWE superstar doing in an ECW ring?” Joey Styles, “Why the hell do you ask me? I have no idea! I’m as clueless as the next guy!” Jeff Hardy covers Jerry Lynn; One…Two…Jerry Lynn finds it in himself to get the shoulder up. Jeff picks up Lynn and sends him into the corner but Lynn counters attempting to send Jeff into the corner instead. Hardy hits the corner and Credible already up attempts to nail him with a clothesline but Jeff moves out of harms way landing a dropkick to Jerry Lynn at the same time; while sending Justin head chest first into the turnbuckles. Jeff gets a hold of Credible from behind and brings him into the canvas with a reverse neck breaker. Jerry Lynn pulls Jeff Hardy from behind and both men stand face to face and they appear to be exchanging words. Jeff shoves Jerry back but Lynn retaliates with a clothesline that puts him down. Jerry does his ‘metal’ taunt with his fingers as he lives up the crowd on his behalf but he walks right into a boot to the stomach from Credible’s part as he drives him into the canvas with an unforgiving Tiger bomb!! He has the cover made; One…Two…Jeff Hardy breaks up the count. Justin Credible and Jeff Hardy trade fist with Credible getting the upper hand. He sends him over the top rope but Jeff grabs a hold the rope and is able to land on the apron. He slides between Credible's legs and dropkicks him across the back sending him to the outside of the ring. Jerry attempts to clothesline Jeff over the ropes also but Jeff lowers himself and back body drops Lynn up and over the ropes, crashing onto the Impact Player. Jeff rebounds off the opposite side of the ropes before leaping over and scoring with a somersault dive onto both of his opponents! A “EC-Dub!” chant emerges. Jeff Hardy slowly gets to his feet and sends Credible into the ring, he climbs the ring apron in attempts to follow after him but Lynn pulls the feet of Jeff making him hit his head with the apron. Jerry scores with a few kicks to Jeff’s head before sending him with an Irish whip shoulder first into the metal ring post. Jerry Lynn climbs inside the ring as Justin Credible leaps off the top rope with a Flying Double Axe handle but Jerry meets him on his way down with a dropkick across the face. Justin staggers around the ring holding his face, as he appears to be in la-la land. This allows Jerry Lynn to compose himself and bring him down with his patented finisher, The Cradle Piledriver!!! Jeff is on the top rope and Mr. Extreme calls for it and lands the Swanton Bomb on Justin Credible. Jeff Hardy has got the cover as Jerry Lynn catches a breather, One…Two…Three!!! Jeff Hardy has eliminated, Justin Credible in his first match in ECW. The fans in the arena give Jeff Hardy a huge pop as Joey Styles says, “I’m still speechless; but Jeff Hardy has eliminated Justin Credible and it’s down to Jerry Lynn and Jeff; but we’ve got to take a quick break.”

(8:35-8:45)
The show returns with ‘The New F’N Show’ Jerry Lynn and Jeff Hardy standing face to face in the middle of the ring. Both men are exchanging words, as they must be terribly exhausted from the brawl that also included Justin Credible. The fans are at the edge of their seat and must be thinking what can we witness next. Jeff Hardy offers a handshake to Jerry Lynn and he accepts, but Jeff ends up pulling him into a DDT. Joel Gertner, “Jeff Hardy just impaled Jerry Lynn into the ring apron!” Joey Styles, “This could be the final nail in the coffin.” Jeff doesn’t cover instead climbs to the top turnbuckle where he does his signature ‘suicide’ taunt. Jerry nips up and dropkicks the feet of underneath Jeff. The former Intercontinental Champion gets crotched on the top rope as Lynn capitalizes on this with a Frankesteiner! Jerry goes for the cover, One…Two…shoulder up by Jeff Hardy. Jerry Lynn sends Jeff into the ropes with an Irish whip and attempts a Tilt a whirl…but no, Jeff turns it into a head scissors takedown. Jerry bounces back up and both men unorthodoxly enter a collar and elbow tie up. Side headlock takeover by Jerry Lynn; but Jeff wraps his legs around the head of Lynn making him let go. Both men stand up and glare at each other before entering yet another collar and elbow tie up. Side headlock by Jeff Hardy, shove to the ropes by Lynn, attempted clothesline by Jeff, leapfrog over his head does Lynn. Leapfrog on his way back from behind by Jeff, waist lock around the back by Jerry; attempted release German suplex but Jeff lands on his feet! Both men are breathing heavily as each other’s rapid counters surprise them. Joey Styles, “Jeff has grown into a much complete superstar and Jerry Lynn continues to this day in my view to be the best pound for pound. They lock up yet again but this time, Lynn scores with a hip toss but Jeff once again lands on his feet and scores with a split legged jawbreaker one of his trademark maneuvers. Jerry stumbles for a while and Jeff leaps onto the middle rope, looking for a high risk, slingshot hurricarrana…but Jerry Lynn counters with a Spiral Tiger Bomb. The fans rally behind Lynn and break out in the ‘Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!’ chant as he climbs to the top turnbuckle and gathers some incredible hang time with a Guillotine Leg Drop across the face of Jeff Hardy!! He has the leg hooked and the shoulders are down; One…Two…Thre, Jeff barely kicked out. Jerry Lynn sort of smiles, not being able to believe what it’ll take to keep this young competitor that at times has been compared to the great ‘HBK’ Shawn Michaels. Jerry Lynn allows Jeff to be able to gain his composure and when he does looks for a kick but Jeff holds Jerry’s leg and turns him around into a hard sidekick to the jaw, which sends him into the canvas. Jeff scoops Lynn up and body slams him near the corner of the ring, before heading to the skies. Jeff for his trademark Swanton Bomb but finds nothing but the hard canvas. Jerry picks him off the canvas and tosses him into the ropes, he bends over attempting what must be a back body drop but Jeff Hardy counters with a Sunset flip pin combination! Jeff’s legs hold down Jerry Lynn’s shoulders and the New F’N Show appears to have nowhere to go! The referee goes for the count One…Two…Three!!! Jeff Hardy has come to ECW and on his first night in the company captured to the shock of the wrestling world the ECW Television Championship.
Winner via pinfall and new ECW Television Champion: Jeff Hardy 16:23
Joey Styles, “Oh my God!! In what will be talked about for many years to come. Jeff Hardy has stormed into ECW and captured on his first night here with us, the ECW T.V. Title…In what I can recall the wildest 3 Way Dance in recent history!” Joel Gertner, “This is a travesty, not only did he pin Justin Credible and Jerry Lynn but he has the gold to back it up…what a slap in the face for the ECW roster!”
The fans give Jeff Hardy a huge mix reaction that mostly consists of cheers as his entrance them ‘Downfall’ by Trust Company blast through the arena. Jerry Lynn stands up shaken by all of this and can’t believe it. The referee official climbs into the ring and hands an emotional Jeff the ECW T.V. championship. Jeff holds the title in his hands as he stares deep into it for a minute. He literally hugs the belt and falls to the ring in a overwhelming experience as the ECW fans have no choice but to stand up and give him a standing ovation for his huge win. Jerry Lynn is shown talking with the referee as he pulls a visibly emotional Jeff Hardy up to his feet. Jerry snatches the belt from Jeff’s arms and appears to be telling Jeff something…he goes around a shocked Jeff and wraps the belt around his waist. He lifts Jeff’s hand up in the air as the crowed loves every bit of it. Joey Styles, “The ECW T.V. Title has found itself a new owner and that is Jeff Hardy. Can he keep this reign alive or was this a fluke? We’ll have to wait and see but after the performance he gave here tonight, I guess he deserved it and that is what Jerry Lynn noticed.” Joel Gertner, “Oh you’re such a sell out Joey. He doesn’t deserve dilly squat! That belt belongs to ECW.” Joey Styles, “But whether we like him or not, so does Jeff Hardy.” Jeff Hardy celebrates by climbing the corners of the ring with the ECW T.V. Title around his waist.

(8:45-9:00)
When the show returns Joel Gertner and Joey Styles are discussing what happened before the break. Joey Styles, “The night is far from over and we already have crowned our first champion of the new era. Jeff Hardy has won the ECW Television Title in a 3-way dance against Justin Credible and Jerry Lynn. The question is, will he be able to hang here in ECW, with the big guys?” Joel Gertner, “ECW is the home to some of the most insane and not to mention, classless individuals in the sport. This is not WWE, you won’t be seeing any of our guys at sitcoms, Jeff if your listening which I know you are, run for your life and drop the belt to Paul Heyman’s office.” Joey Styles, “That kid has a ton of heart and his star shines the brightest from a lot of people I’ve seen.” Joel Gertner, “But what about Frankie Kazarian; he’s really made an impact upon his arrival here in ECW.” Joey Styles, “He sure as hell has. It appears as he wants his feud with Chris Sabin to continue and the way I see it, he won’t have to tell Sabin twice!”
The camera fades to the backstage area where an exhausted Jeff Hardy is standing by with Jack Victory. Jack Victory says, “Jeff it has come as quite the shock to many of us here backstage and I bet that these fans didn’t expect what just happened moments ago. You’ve made history by capturing the ECW Television Title on your first night with the company. How do you feel?” Jeff hesitates for a brief moment, before saying, “I feel like a million bucks, Jack. Ever since the Hardy Boys legacy ended and my brother, Matt and I; left the Tag Team ranks…we’ve both been looking to make a name for ourselves on separate roads.” Jack Victory, “Ok this is not your autobiography, boy just let me know how you feel?” Jeff Hardy glares at Jack before continuing, “Well I’ve got to say that I’m ecstatic about all this. Ever since I’ve been in the business; I’ve done it all as some might say but still I have not held the World Championship. So you can say that my eyes are set in the World strap, but I know I have to work my way up the ladder but I guess we can say, that I took a huge leap of faith. History is being made once again and I’m damn proud of being part of it. ECW is my new home and not since WWE has such a place felt so good to be in. I’ll continue to work hard and give the fans who have not seen me or others here in ECW, wrestling from the likes they’ve never seen.” Jeff Hardy’s interview is suddenly shaken by the arrival of Jerry Lynn. The fans inside the arena are buzzing at his arrival into the scene. Joey Styles voice is heard, “What is this all about?” Jerry Lynn says, “Look Jeff; I’m very glad that you’ve achieved all this in just one night but this is not for you to take ECW for granted. There are hells of a lot guys waiting to target you know since you’ve become the T.V. champion…so I want to propose something, lets just say I want to see if you have ‘it’. It may sound foolish of me, but I’m challenging you on next week’s episode to a match. One on one, man to man and as you knows the Television Title will be on the line.” Jeff Hardy, “I’m not one to back away from a challenge, believe me, I’ll be here next Monday and the belt will be waiting for you.” Both men shake hands and walk their separate ways as Joey Styles says, “Next week; on Monday Night Massacre not only will we have a new World Champion but we’ll bare witness to Jerry Lynn vs. Jeff Hardy for the ECW Television Title and I expect it to be a classic.” Joel Gertner, “It very well can be, Joey. “ The ring announcer who says, “The following contest is the first qualifier match to determine next week, the ECW World Champion, interrupts both commentators!! Joey Styles says, “Either of these two men will be standing in that very ring waiting to compete for the ECW World Title belt but tonight their going to have to put each other out of commission.” Joel Gertner, “You know Joey; you talk as if you knew who in the hell will be wrestling…and I bet my left nut that you have no idea who will be in this next match; ‘cause If I don’t know, nobody does.” Joey Styles, “I guess it’s time to find out!”
New Jack’s entrance theme rocks the Freedom Hall in Kentucky. The fans loose control for the arrival of wrestling’s original gangster. New Jack makes his way into the ring but he brings down to the ring a shopping cart full of different weapons and foreign objects. Joey Styles, “New Jack is finally getting a chance at the ECW World Title belt and you’ve got to wonder who out of Sabu, Steve Corino and Tommy Dreamer will this man be facing?” Joel Gertner, “New Jack is nothing more than a bad ass wannabe. Joey; New Jack has no class and certainly no chance of becoming ECW World Champion.” Suddenly the crowd is lifted in excitement as making his way to the ring is none other than former ECW World Champion and the true franchise of the house of hardcore, none other than ‘the Innovator of Violence’ Tommy Dreamer!!! The fans burst with an ear shattering pop for his arrival as Joey Styles looses control at the announce table, “It’ll be New Jack vs. Tommy Dreamer. Two fan favorites here in ECW will be competing for a chance to become ECW World Champion!” Joel Gertner, “Paul Heyman is a genius; pitting these two against each other gives Corino or Sabu for that matter a clear cut advantage over the competition.” Joey Styles, “Indeed it does, expect the unexpected in this match. ‘Cause it should be ECW at it’s best.”
Tommy Dreamer glares at New Jack from the outside after he shook hands with seas of fans that are sitting at ringside.
ECW World Title
Qualifier Match
‘The Innovator of Violence’ Tommy Dreamer versus ‘The Original Gangsta’ New Jack
Tommy Dreamer slides into the ring but is met with rapid kicks to the back of the head by New Jack. The Original Gangster stomps Tommy into the corner of the ring, viciously you can see in his eyes the fire to become ECW World Champion. New Jack turns around slides to the outside and looks for a steel chair he had inside the shopping cart. Before he enters the ring, Tommy Dreamer surprises him with a baseball slide underneath the bottom rope, smashing the chair over Jack’s own face. The Innovator of Violence pounds on New Jack with several right hands to the face, before sending him with an Irish whip head first into the steel steps. New Jack doesn’t take long to stand up as Dreamer catches him with a clothesline. Tommy Dreamer picks up the chair New Jack had planned to use on him and places it over Jack’s own head. Dreamer climbs on the ring apron and connects with an elbow drop over the chair, once again smashing the chair to his face! Tommy Dreamer turns to the fans as the crowd looses control with “ECW” chants. New Jack is up but already is a bloody mess courtesy of Tommy Dreamer. The former ECW champion looks for a clothesline but Jack avoids it and turns Dreamer around into a DDT into the exposed concrete floor. New Jack pulls out of the cart he brought to the ring; a steel chain. He wraps the chain around his fist and digs deep in the head of his opponent with steel wrapped punches. New Jack picks Dreamer off the floor and drives him head first into the metal ring post. A stunned Dreamer stumbles around the ringside area with blood pouring out of his nose. Joey Styles, “As you can see, Tommy Dreamer might have had his nose severely broken thanks to New Jack. These two already in the early stages of this match giving each other all they’ve got.” New Jack asks a fan at ringside for a steel chair and the fans hands the chair over to him. He measures Dreamer and looks to strike him with the chair but Tommy retaliates with a kick to the gut. This makes Jack drop the chair-allowing Dreamer to pick it up and stare psychotically into the steel weapon. He brings it down with thundering force into New Jack’s back, sending the Original Gangster reeling into the ring. The Innovator of Violence climbs into the ring and both men go at it with an exchange of right and lefts. New Jack gains the advantage with a knee to the abdomen, before nailing a hangman’s neck breaker! New Jack goes for the cover; One…Two…Crimson mask, Tommy Dreamer gets the shoulder up before the count of three. New Jack leans between the middle and bottom rope, as he appears to be looking for another weapon from his hardcore arsenal. The Innovator of Violence sprints onto the top turnbuckle and launches himself with an unorthodox Leg lariat to the back of New Jack’s head bending him up like a pretzel! Joel Gertner, “What the hell was that!?” Joey Styles, “That Gertner, was the Innovator of Violence doing just that…innovating.” New Jack is out in the ring as Tommy Dreamer clears a wooden table from ringside and slides it into the squared circle. He climbs in after it and leans it over the corner. Tommy picks up New Jack and sends him over to the Table with an Irish whip but the Original Gangster counters and its Tommy Dreamer who goes through the Table in the corner!! The Original Gangsta pulls out Dreamer from the ruble of wood and hooks him in a front face lock. He appears to look for a DDT but Dreamer rams Jack back first into a corner of the ring. The Innovator of Violence tears New Jack apart with ruthless right hands to his face, before sending him over the ropes and to the outside after hitting him with a piece of the broken table! New Jack goes to the outside allowing Dreamer to climb to the top turnbuckle and send himself soaring onto him with another unorthodox move from his part, flying body press. Joey Styles, “Tommy Dreamer with that Cross Body from the top turnbuckle to the outside not only took out New Jack but may have hurt himself in the process.”
Tommy takes New Jack into the crowd and both men issue an all out brawl in the ringside area. The Original Gangster and The Innovator of Violence tear into each other with everything they have to offer slowly making their way back to the ring as the fans are going insane chanting for both of their favorites. Joey Styles, “Dreamer and New Jack are both just beating the hell out of each other as neither man cant get a clear advantage over the other.” New Jack climbs over the guardrail and out of the shopping cart pulls out a computer keyboard. He begins to taunt Dreamer by ‘playing’ with the keys on the board to the delight of the crowd. Tommy Dreamer on the other hand is handed a frying pan from a fan!
The Innovator of Violence taunts New Jack and the Gangster attempts to strike Tommy; but he dodges the hit and connects with a head shot to New Jack courtesy of the frying pan!! A thud is heard but surprisingly New Jack doesn’t go down instead he breaks the computer keyboard over Dreamer’s head as both hardcore warriors go down at ringside, simultaneously!!! Joel Gertner, “Look at these two idiots…now they’re both down!” The fans begin mix chants of “New Jack” and “Dreamer” as both men begin to make their way up. New Jack uses the ropes to get himself up and goes after Tommy but before he can do anything, Dreamer catches him with a Manhattan Drop. New Jack holds onto the family jewels in serious pain and Dreamer looks for the Spicolli Driver…but New Jack slides down his back and looks for a reverse DDT; which Dreamer himself counters with a elbow shot to the mid section and follows it up with a vertical suplex! He has the cover; One…Two…New Jack kicks out in the nick of time. Dreamer goes to the outside and does not notice Jack roll out of the ring also. Tommy Dreamer has a steel chair; New Jack has his Guitar, which he pulled from underneath the ring. Both men slide into the ring; New Jack swings but Dreamer side steps the attack and drives the chair into the stomach of Jack. He looks to knock him down with the chair but thinks it over and drops the chair in front of New Jack…instead picks up the New Jack’s guitar and crashes it over Jack’s head!!! Before Jack collapses Tommy Dreamer scoops him over his shoulders before driving him over the steel chair with the Spicolli Driver!!!
Joey Styles, “This could be it! Tommy Dreamer if decides to go for the cover he might be able to beat New Jack.” Joel Gertner, “I really don’t care who walks out of this match the winner, I’m being truthful. But I’m with you, Dreamer has New Jack beat!” Tommy Dreamer hook’s the leg of his opponent as the referee goes down and makes the One…Two…Three!!! The Innovator of Violence’ Tommy Dreamer will be facing either Sabu or Steve Corino for the World Championship next week!
Winner via pinfall, Tommy Dreamer 11:12
The fans in attendance stand up and give Tommy Dreamer a standing ovation for his amazing comeback after being put down in the WWE. Dreamer wearing a crimson mask and all can’t help but smile and ask for a microphone before climbing into the corner of the ring and talking to the fans. He says, “I only got one thing to say, it’s all worth it. The blood, bruises and everything I went through to beat New Jack. To tell you the truth not only do I thank you for your support but I’d be happy if you all put your hands together for New Jack.” The fans continue to cheer their lungs off as Dreamer continues, “This is a message to either Steve Corino or Sabu…Tommy Dreamer is standing tall and I’ll be waiting for either of your asses later on this show; ‘cause I want the ECW Championship and what I did tonight is not even close what I’m willing to do to win the belt.” Dreamer’s entrance theme rocks the arena as he heads backstage and the show goes to break with Joey Styles screaming, “Whoever wins the match tonight between Steve Corino and Sabu will face Tommy Dreamer later tonight for the ECW World Title!!”

When the show returns the sole owner of ECW, Paul Heyman is standing backstage in front of the new ECW logo. Paul Heyman says, “Hope you’ve enjoyed the show so far; I’m out here to talk business and to make it clear, tag team business! The ECW Tag Team division has prided itself by establishing some of the best teams and matches in the business. We’ve had the Dudley Boyz, the Eliminators, RVD & Sabu and even international talent…but this is 2006 and a new ECW has dawned upon the scene. Starting next week, ECW will hold the ‘ECW Tag Team Wresting Tournament’ the winners of that tournament will have the privilege to carry these belts around their waist or any other body part they desire for that matter. Six teams will enter the contest and the final match of this tournament will be at our first P.P.V; Barely Legal at the end of the month. I can tell you what to expect, some old faces and some new ones and quite frankly tag team wrestling at its best.” The fans inside the arena are heard cheering as the voice of ECW, Joey Styles is heard saying, “The ECW Tag Team Wrestling tournament starts next week and finishes at Barely Legal!” Paul Heyman grins as Jack Victory interrupts him. Jack says, “Paul come quick; it’s Sabu something happened!” Paul looks confused and both Jack Victory and him flood to the scene along with tons of ECW officials. They enter the locker room and facing the floor in a puddle of his own blood lays Sabu. Paul Heyman, Jack Victory and Sabu’s all time manager, Bill Alphonso is checking on him as Heyman screams, “Get me a damn EMT, out here!” They turn his body over and you can barely see his face, as it is soaked in blood. Bill Alphonso sends the cameras out of the scene as the shot returns to the announce table. Joey Styles, “I’m speechless…I really have no idea what just happened…We didn’t receive word of this before…the human highlight reel, Sabu has been found inside his locker room a complete bloody mess. Although Sabu is known the well over and has reached legendary status for being in that condition…but we’ve never seen him like this…” Joel Gertner, “I know this probably isn’t a good time to ask but, who will Steve Corino be facing?” Joey Styles, “You said it its not a good time. But I guess the King of Old School must be filled with joy at the sight we just witnessed…this wasn’t even part of the damn show.” Joel Gertner, “You know what they say, the best things never are, Joey!” Joey Styles, “You really tend to make me sick, you know that. I guess I don’t have to continue to make that clear as you make everyone sick!” Joel Gertner, “Hey don’t take things to personal.” Joey Styles, “The show must go on and this is ECW and the name couldn’t have said it better, Monday Night Massacre has been wild tonight folks.”

(9:10-9:25)
Joey Styles, “The Hardcore Legend, Cactus Jack returns to ECW, Gertner!” Joel Gertner, “But wasn’t he part of the other company?” Joey Styles, “I guess this surprise is what Paul Heyman has been hinting. By bringing in a player like Foley into the mix; that’s one for ECW and 0 for the other company.” Joel Gertner, “It took you a hell of a lot to figure that out, didn’t it?” Joey Styles, “Oh please; Cactus Jack has been one of the most influential men in professional wrestling. He’s been in the same ring with the best of them and there is no question what he’ll be doing next in ECW.”
The camera goes backstage where Paul Heyman, Jack Victory and Bill Alphonso have just placed Sabu on a stretcher and the ambulance departs with him inside to the nearest hospital. Bill Alphonso with worried and anger in his voice yells at Paul, “You better find the bastard that took Sabu out of tonight’s tournament!! Our first night backs and looks what just happened. If this is anyone’s fault is yours…” Fonzie walks out of the picture and so does Jack Victory as Paul Heyman looks into the camera and says, “I’ve figured something out; since Steve Corino was going to face Sabu and that won’t be happening tonight…then Steve; you’ll be facing ‘The Chair swinging Freak’ Balls Mahoney!!!”
The shot goes to Chris Sabin who is standing by with the very sexual Fire. She says, “Sabin, you and Kazarian started Monday Night Massacre with a great match and some critics said that would be the final coffin in your feud…after what happened in the post mach; how do you feel?” Chris Sabin, “Some people now think that I’m going to stand back and watch him walk to the heights he wants to reach. Frankie is a smart guy; he knows me very well and that is why he pointed out that this feud would continue. The day this feud ends will be the day that one of us decides to back down. Kazarian will learn a lesson in ECW; ‘cause here we will be doing to each other what wasn’t allowed elsewhere. That is why next week, I’m challenging Kazarian to another match and this time I promise the outcome won’t be the same!” Chris Sabin walks out of the picture as Fire says; “Well you heard it here first; Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian will meet next week in yet another match of this burning feud. Talking about burning, I’m kind of hot…better go cool off!” The show returns to the announce table where Joey Styles and Gertner are talking about what just went down.
Joey Styles, “Gertner, Steve Corino will not face Sabu on the other hand he’ll face Balls Mahoney!” Joel Gertner, “You think I’m nervous about that? I believe that either man is a piece of pie for Corino…since he can do it all.” Joey Styles, “Next week, Chris Sabin vs. Frankie Kazarian as this feuds continues to develop through the ECW land; but up next we’ll have a ECW cruiserweight match between those of the hottest prospects in the business today. I’m talking about the name known in Japan as Fuego Guerrero; he’s the Amazing Red a young prospect labeled as the next Rey Mysterio Jr. A guy who knows no limits! The other we know him very well and he continues to impress us with everything he can do…Full blooded Italian, Little Guido will be making his comeback in this contest.” Joel Gertner, “Did you know I’m half Italian? That is why me and the FBI have always been good friends.”
The F.B.I theme is heard and down the ramp as he sits on the shoulders of Big Sal E. Graziano comes Little Guido with a mic at hand. Joey Styles, “It’ll be interesting what he has to say for himself.” Guido says, “Kentucky where are your manners? When an Italian stallion as myself comes to this ring you should all cheer for me. I’ve been to the WWE and now back here; I’ve brought in my little friend, Big Sal. Everyone backstage has been telling me, get ready ‘cause you’ll be facing the Amazing Red…I tell them Fo’ get about that! Just like…” The Amazing Red’s music rocks the arena as the crowd gives him a huge pop for his arrival. Joel Gertner, “What type of person interrupts such a heart felt promo like Guido’s?” Joey Styles, “A smart man…that’s the Amazing Red!” Little Guido is already in the ring as Red shakes hands with some fans at ringside, before sliding into the squared circle.
Single Match
The Amazing Red versus Little Guido with Big Sal E. Graziano

I’ve never seen him perform such thing.” Joel Gertner, “Of course you haven’t.” Red goes down and Guido hooks the leg and this one could be over early, but he only gets a 2 count. Joey Styles, “That was very close. It look’s like Little Guido is too much for even Red to handle.” Guido picks up Red and attempts to send him into the corner once again but he refuses and turns the tide sending his opponent into the corner. This sends Guido bouncing around the canvas and Red picks him up from behind and hooks him up looking for Code Red finisher but Guido manages to turn it around and brings him into a pinning predicament. Joey Styles, “Back Slide by Guido!” One…Two…Red kicks out at the last second. Red tosses Guido into the corner or so he thinks as Little Guido reverses and brings Red into a kick to the gut, right before going into the ropes and coming back with a knee lift to the side of his head. This sends Red rolling in pain out of the ring to the outside; allowing Little Guido to somersault dive over the ropes and crashing onto his opponent!! Joey Styles, “Little Guido has drawn first blood as the blood flows out of the wound of Red.” Joel Gertner, “Red doesn’t look that amazing anymore does he?” Guido slides him into the ring before sending him into the corner with a Irish whip. Little Guido follows it up with a Dragon Stretch using the ropes!! Joel Gertner, “That move is a trademark maneuver from a NWA star Red knows very well and I’m talking about Low Ki. Little Guido is sending a message of ECW dominance!” The Italian Stallion breaks up the painful hold and Red struts around into a scoop before being left hang to dry in a tree of woe. Little Guido gets some hard kicks to the abdomen of his opponent before going into the opposite corner of the ring. He runs at Red and does a cartwheel-handspring baseball slide kick looking to hit Red’s face but the Amazing Red is able to lift himself to the top turnbuckle as Guido gets crotched with the metal ring post!!! Lizzie Borden who is barely dressed to the delight of the male audience is all over Steve Corino and hands him a microphone. Steve Corino says, “ECW; say hello to the new acquisition of Steve Corino…Lizzie Borden.” The male fans pop while some of the other audience boos his comments. Steve Corino, “Ever since Sabu was attacked earlier tonight; the locker room has been turning their heads and pointing their fingers at yours truly. This ECW locker room it’s always been full of business hypocrites. Guys that say they sweat, bleed and breath this business but when something out of the ordinary takes place they tend to blame the best man. You see right now in this business, whether you the fans, guys backstage or even the critics likes to admit it or not; I’m the best pro wrestling has to offer. I’m the guy that personifies everything a wrestler should be. I’ve work everyday and every night to be where I am. I’ve gotten in the ring with the absolute best this business has to offer and not to brag, but I’ve beaten them all that there is to beat. Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, The Sandman, Shane Douglas, to name a few has been on my list of victims. So what makes you think that I couldn’t beat an average wrestler as Sabu? My point is clear and if you dumb f*cks can’t understand it then let me make it clearer. Paul Heyman may have changed my opponent to Balls Mahoney; so it makes matters a lot easier. Paul, if you think you can stop me; you’ve got something big coming your way. So Balls, I know you’re on your way to the ring; so don’t keep me waiting!!” Joey Styles, “Steve Corino is as arrogant as he can be and it just makes me sick.” Joel Gertner, “You know what they say, it isn’t bragging if you do it and you can back it up!” Joey Styles, “True to that. Steve Corino must face Balls Mahoney and then go on to face Tommy Dreamer on a roll and if he’s able to achieve a win like this, he will really earn the people’s respect.”
‘ I’ve got big balls! ‘ Is heard throughout the arena and this brings out with his trusty Steel Chair at hand; one half of the ‘Chair Swinging Freaks’ Balls Mahoney. Joel Gertner, “Balls is just nasty to look at; he makes me sick.” Joey Styles, “Are you quoting your girlfriend? ‘Cause it sounds like she says the same thing…Balls Mahoney a true hardcore warrior and flag carrier of the ECW name wherever he goes.”
